Just for the record, VolNation, Hog and Grand Vol are on record stating that once proof of collusion came out they would be opposed to the Donny presidency like "patriotic" Americans.

Well, here we are.

Still wondering when they're going to act like patriotic Americans though.

The thing I still resent about posts like this from you and from Clearwater, etc., is that, despite all of the evidence that now exists, so many of you who should be automatically on my side still so often throw me under the bus, because I guess I appear "crazy" or something.

One would think we're past that point now, given what has come to light, but I guess we all still have our battles to fight.

Always remember, the prophet is silly and crazy to all until one day he is not.

Maybe I interpret you incorrectly.

Oh, I see. I saw that post from the other night, so the top post of yours surprised me. I just misinterpreted you, as I thought you were implying I was simply the alternative "left" side of the nutbag posters on this forum. My apologies.

By the way, I think I've told you, but I'll say it again, I'm not "left." I'm not "liberal."

I am a Republican, although I will jump that ship as soon as the first viable alternative party comes about from the ashes of the GOP not named "Libertarian."

My conservatism, however, is not like that of the GOP's. In many ways, I often end up aligned with Democrats just as much, and, these days, far more, than Republicans. My primary political opponent is populism, in any of its forms. Populism is the liberalism of government, the ultra-democratization of society. Populism is what produces a Donny.

I want to help the people, and I support the people. Because of this, I want strong institutions that keep them from doing harm to themselves, which is what they will inevitably do in the absence of adequate public education.

"Liberals" don't have Donskoi and Sulla avatars.

I knew you weren't left. I've read all 700 plus pages of this thread plus most of the other popular current threads.

Many on here view you as a nut bag much the same as I view many of the posters on the pro Trump side. I was trying to express that the crazy they see in you counterbalances the crazy I see in them. Not sure if that makes any sense.

I've actually been amazed at how ahead of the curve you have been through this whole period and I assign more validity to your post now than I did in the beginning.

That's also true of your detractors but something they will never admit. They're terrified that you may actually be correct.

The Republican Party is a lot of things, but moral and upright, befitting a republic, it is not.

Nor is it a healthy party. It merely gives the appearance of being so. It is bloated, decayed from within, and long in the tooth.

When the first block is picked from it, and we are very close to that moment, it will crumble in a matter of mere years.

Less than a decade from now, there will be no more Republican Party. If there is, it will be a mere hollow shell of what it once was.

The Democrat Party, however, will go on in its current form for at least a couple more decades, although it too is close to a far left departure.

In the end, it may be that the old center Democrats and old center Republicans form a coalition and unite as a new party. I would certainly be interested in what such a party would have to offer.
