Why shouldn't we return the compounds? Diplomacy is a good thing

I trust you're joking... but no, the United States of America does not acquiesce to threats made by our adversaries. Those compounds were used for the purpose of intelligence collection. That would not be diplomacy, it would be cowardice. Nor do we tolerate a foreign government meddling in our elections.

So we should cut ties for Saudi and Ukraine too? We have a lot more proof of their meddling than Russia

Yeah, because two of the most powerful nations on the planet shouldn't be on speaking terms as a minimum or anything.

Just weird!

That's not what Ian Bremmer said now, is it? He said that Trump's best personal relationship among G-20 leaders is clearly with Putin and that is, as I said, bizarre.

Our president meet with the leader of another country? O no!!

Ordinarily, I agree with you that it would be worthy of very little mention. But you have to put it in context of everything else that is going on.

It is absolutely beyond comprehension that this President and this Administration, knowing the scrutiny that they are under and repeatedly being caught in lies and half-truths would take any chances and try to hide something like this.

Just ridiculous. Truly the worst judgment in history of the American presidency.

He's running interference for the Kremlin.

Just ignore him, and he'll eventually sputter out.

Were you outraged too?

I will answer this. I was mad at the lengths Obama went to in getting Bowe Bergdahl (however it's spelled) back and thought it was ridiculous and I still do. Obama governed from a strict ideology and that was at times to the detriment of the policy itself.

Good post, but I have to warn you: nuance is foreign to AirVol.

Any one know why Rice canceled her testimony today?

Susan Rice is no longer expected to visit Capitol Hill on Tuesday for a meeting with the House committee probing allegations she "unmasked" President Trump associates in Russian meddling probes.

Rice had been expected to face tough questions on her role in the matter while serving as then-President Barack Obama’s national security adviser. Trump alleges Rice may have committed a crime by asking government analysts to disclose the names of his associates documented in intelligence reports.

Because she and Obama were illegally spying on Donny and his cohort, and she and Obama and Hillary and Bill and Loretta and Eric and [insert libtard] are all going to prison, of course.
