It looks disingenious for sure. The secretive nature of this administration only fuels the fire. And the blatant lies, after lies, after lies.

But I'm trying to give Trump the benefit of the doubt. Private conversations happen between leaders all the time at summits. And they should. Like I said, I just wish an American interpreter was in the room and they stated that day that they had a conversation.

I'm not prone to giving trump a pass but given the setting it doesn't seem too unusual. Other leaders were mingling and talking. Now, had they disappeared into a private room for couple of hours I'd be a little more concerned. (Exchange of precious bodily fluids not withstanding.)
