TrumPutinGate

Firing Mueller would not be extreme IMO although it would certainly create a media frenzy (what doesn't). The fact he hasn't recused himself due to his close friendship with Comey taints the entire investigation. Now he's looking at finances related to business dealings from 10+ years ago? Was Trump conspiring with Russians to hack the 2016 election then? He's clearly wandered outside the scope of this investigation

I thought his appointment was a good thing, thought he could lead an impartial investigation into the relevant matters. Guess I was wrong, he's bending to the will of his masters.

Wait, so Manafort and Donny Jr. are now seeking limits to their testimony next week????

Hmm.....

Senate should stand firm and demand full answers. Hope the GOP leadership can stick to their guns.

In the end, we all drink the Kool-Aide, GV. That's just the nature of the beast.

I'm a diet soda drinker.

I will call things as I see them. Trump does tend to do his own thing even in light of others recommending the alternate course. The Paris Treaty alone showed he will do what he feels is right (allegedly Ivanka recommended he sign it) rather than what the group think is.

Not saying it's right necessarily, but I can respect a person who makes decisions for other reasons than politically acceptability or expedience. Or because "everyone is doing it."

The committee has issued a subpoena for Glenn Simpson, the co-founder of Fusion GPS, the political firm that compiled a dossier at the center of the federal Russia probe.
Attorneys for Simpson say he will not accept the committee's invitation to testify Wednesday.
Grassley and Feinstein said in their statement: "Glenn Simpson, through his attorney, has declined to voluntarily attend Wednesday's Judiciary Committee hearing regarding compliance with the Foreign Agents Registration Act. Therefore, a subpoena has been issued to compel his attendance. Simpson's attorney has asserted that his client will invoke his Fifth Amendment rights in response to the subpoena."

So the guy behind most of the Russian collusion BS is gonna plead the Fif? Interesting...from CNN though..not sure if it is true at all.
