No doubt, it's shameful. Trump is getting played by Putin, he just rolls over whenever Vladimir comes calling. Trump is soft.
who trashes our own intelligence services and expresses his solidarity with a enemy dictator whose government aggressively hacked our presidential election? It is treasonous.
Trump wets himself with Putin for two reasons: First, Russian money--a lot of it no doubt dirty (meaning laundered) has propped up Trump's property business, big-time, and nothing means more to Trump than his (overrated) business. He doesn't want to bite the hand that has fed him.
Second, Trump doesn't like the idea that the election is tainted by the massive Russian social-media trolling effort--and it was massive--and by the hacking of DNC emails, etc.
In short, as is well-established by now, Trump has no idea how to be president--the incompetence and insecurity and strangeness is off the charts. Just glance back at some of the many completely unqualified people he's put up for federal judgeships--men who've never argued a case, men who've been declared "unqualified" by the American Bar Association, and it goes on. I mean, Trump's administration is full of corrupt businessmen and hacks like Pruitt and DeVos and Perry (and many more)--but these are lifetime judicial appointments. It's kind of like our new Supreme Court justice, who wasted no time displaying his unethical instincts by giving a speech at an event sponsored by the Koch Brothers, at the Trump hotel in Washington. Disgraceful.
