I have no idea why Trump would have reason to distrust our intelligence agencies.
Incorrect, the DNC contracted Crowd Strike and refused to allow the FBI to examine them.
Crowd Strike is very reputable is the point. The President of the United States should not be taking the word of Vladimir Putin (a former KGB officer) over the conclusions of our intelligence community. It's strictly a self serving action. He is putting his own anger and contempt for the Mueller investigation above showing trust and respect for men and women who serve the U.S. government.
A strong leader would not ask Putin if Russia was responsible for meddling in our election. A strong leader would simply present the information our IC has collected and say, "This is what you are guilty of and it better not happen again." Trump looked incredibly weak when he mentioned that it "was not good for our country" that Putin felt "very insulted". You know what's not good for our country? Russia meddling in our Presidential election. For all of his bluster, he is still the scared little boy with a doctor's note claiming bone spurs to avoid service in Vietnam. He breaks us down along party lines and there are even divisions within party's in Trump's world. Trump is a coward.
Trump siding with our enemies over our own Intelligence Community? Based on "He told me he didn't meddle and I believe him"? It's clear Putin owns him and is beginning to put the squeeze on him. Probably threatening to release whore tapes.
And the other side is paying our enemies for information on Trump.
What a time.
Prove it.
What do you mean the other side is paying "our enemies" for information on Trump? The research firm known as "Fusion GPS" is not an enemy of the United States. They are a commercial research and strategic intelligence firm based in Washington DC whose services were initially retained during the Republican primary. Christopher Steele is a former British Intelligence Officer who worked for M16 and is a founding director of Orbis Business Intelligence based out of London and he is also not an enemy of the United States.
1. Steele's work was not part of the oppo research in the R primary.
2. Steele's work was substantially sourced directly from the Russian government. GPS knew it and the client (Clinton/DNC) knew it. The fact that Steele was a middle man doesn't change the fact that what was paid for by Fusion/Clinton/DNC was information from the Russian government.
Do you live in Nutbush?
Pierce, do you even realize that Trump is a ****ing fool and at least a borderline traitor. Putin would love nothing more than to see the destruction of our democracy. Yet Trump is angry at our IC because we may have hurt this dictator's feelings.
You're on the wrong side of history.
It still baffles me that people still hold our intelligence agencies in such high regard. How laughable.
Maybe it's just me, but I would think it would be embarrassing to still be crying a year after you lose an election.Trump is beginning to walk back the things he said yesterday so you guys can start rearranging your positions today. By next week he'll be denying he ever said anything. Must be embarrassing for you guys
