TrumPutinGate

He's in charge of Middle East peace, setting up secret back channels to Putin using Russian espionage equipment, and finance.

Obama had secret back channels to Russia. All presidents have since the Cold War.

Edit: I was wrong. It goes all the way back to FDR

Caliexit reached out to the Russians.... (so did Texit)

'Russian trolls' promoted California independence - BBC News

The California independence movement has been spearheaded by a group called Yes California. One of the group's co-founders, Louis Marinelli, opened a self-styled California embassy in Moscow, and later moved to Siberia.

.....

"I know a lot of people had some problems with us reaching out to Russia, but what we like to remind people is that when the United States was looking to become an independent country, they looked to France," Marinelli says. "We didn't ask for financial support or military support from Russia."

...

There are also indications that the election night #Calexit trend - the hashtag was mentioned 100,000 times in the course of a few hours - was artificially driven by automated bots or fake accounts. Several of the most retweeted messages under the hashtag were posted by accounts with just a few hundred followers. And some of those tweets were retweeted thousands of times, an unlikely - though not impossible - occurrence.

oh you Russia, you strike again. this time to aid to the liberal heartland of California push its freedom.

Haven't had time to keep up with the news media r thread. Have they gotten him yet?

Luther, any updates on the timeline?

Going to be checking in with Louis Mensch as soon as I have a little more time. I'll fill everyone in.

Thanks!

Business Insider is reporting that Michael Flynn was on the payroll for Kaspersky Lab in 2014 while he still had top level security clearance. Kaspersky's products were flagged by the Defense Intelligence Agency as early as 2004 as a security threat for Russian spying. Michael Flynn was the Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency from July 2012 to August of 2014 - so obviously, he knew this but accepted a position with Kaspersky anyway after being fired by Obama. Michael Flynn is the same guy who used to lead the "Lock her up!" chants against Hillary Clinton. There is a strong chance he ends up in jail himself now.

Rinat Akhmetshin, the Russian lobbyist who was present at Donald Trump Jr.'s meeting with a Russian lawyer last June at Trump Tower, may have stronger ties to the Kremlin than previously reported. In one case, Akhmetshin was tied to Russian billionaire Suleiman Kerimov, when Kerimov was involved in a dispute with competitor Ashot Egiazaryan.
Kerimov is a portfolio investor who is said to be tied to the Kremlin through his business dealings with individuals like Vladimir Kogan, a Russian tycoon who's been referred to as "Putin's banker." In March, Putin also awarded Kerimov the Order for Merit to the Fatherland of II.

He was one of Russia’s untouchables: the country’s 21st richest man, a senator in the upper chamber of parliament. He is part of the circle of businessmen known for their loyalty to President Vladimir Putin and the benefits they’ve reaped as a result, a billionaire member of Putin’s United Russia party who has invested hundreds of millions of dollars in important state projects to curry favor.
Such “pocket oligarchs” earn official status, even diplomatic immunity when they travel. And Suleiman Karimov, 51, reportedly has a Russian diplomatic passport. But according to the Russian press, when he landed in France earlier this week he was on a private trip, and didn’t bring it.

Then, almost as soon he got off the plane in Nice, he got arrested for alleged tax evasion and money laundering. And the vision of Karimov behind bars splashed in the Russian press shocked the country’s elite. Many of them, like Karimov, have gotten used to keeping their fortunes, their luxury properties, their yachts, and indeed their families abroad.

And how is this pertinent?

Lawyers for Michael T. Flynn, President Trump’s former national security adviser, notified the president’s legal team in recent days that they could no longer discuss the special counsel’s investigation, according to four people involved in the case, an indication that Mr. Flynn is cooperating with prosecutors or negotiating such a deal.

"In March, as he unsuccessfully sought immunity for his client to testify to House and Senate investigations into the issue, Kelner said, "Mr. Flynn certainly has a story to tell, and he certainly wants to tell it, should the circumstances permit."

Two sources familiar with Mueller's investigation said Flynn may be able to provide insight into three major areas of inquiry.

These are: any collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia in the 2016 campaign; money laundering and other possible financial crimes by Trump aides; and whether Trump sought to obstruct justice when he fired former FBI Director James Comey in May, as Comey was probing the Trump campaign's dealings with Russia."

This may be a new record for the most words written without actually forming a single sentence.

I have no clue what you just said.

What part was stupid? You believe they follow the constitution? The CIA doesn't even follow their own rules, if they did they would never work within the US

Our IC is not the enemy. Liberals are not the enemy. Russian money and influence is. Don't let Trump tell you otherwise. Your time might be better served if you investigate "Pilotgate". Haslam, Schiano, and Pilot bathrooms; Something stinks.
