TrumPutinGate

So much anger in your post. Is it finally starting to sink in that all of your hopes and dreams aren't happening?

Not hopes or dreams but insight into the mind of a Trump supporter. You are exhibit A. Your position is this is a witch hunt but when indictments come out your rational is it has nothing to do with anything and the investigation must stop because it's a witch hunt. Your fear makes you well frankly a pu**y of what the investigation will uncover.

Umm, I voted for Jill in the general election my deranged friend.

No, I'm not scared 1 bit of what this investigation will uncover because like almost all high level investigations they uncover jack squat. This is pure politics.

Trump to NYT: There's no collusion. And collusion itsn't bad. And all Democrats are saying there was no collusion. (Repeat 30 times)

Who knew Trump was the inspiration for a Seinfeld episode?

Investigating Hillary was politics. This is real. I don't care who you voted for, I point to your unflinching support for everything Trump has done or tweeted.

You have me confused with someone else or are just blind to reality.

You lose what little credibility you had on your opening sentence.

Those who have plead guilty already are the only convictions you're getting out of this.

In the end bureaucrats will circle the wagons to protect their own. Some other minor people may get thrown to the wolves, but I don't think anything will happen to Trump because of this. His supporters wouldn't care anyways, even in the likely situation that he, or someone close to his inner circle, committed treason.

Look up the definition.

Trump is a necessary bafoon required to take it to both parties. The real problem is long term members of congress who have grown so powerful they by-pass our system of government backed by the socialist liberal media. How can the republicans or democrats vote in unison instead of based on the needs of the people who sent them to Washington? Why does the media let them get away with it? Healthcare is a perfect example, we need quality, affordable policies available to all. This is not a political issue, they need to lock themselves in a room and come out with something good for the American people.

Term limits are the simple answer to your woes.

Treason is a very strong word, and I doubt that Trump flipped a switch and one day became a Russian asset. But I do think that he over time has become very much indebted to them, and they have no scruples or hesitation in exploiting that.

And once he became the nominee, they simply took advantage of him by working to help get him elected. He's probably more a dupe than evil.

If that's the case what's the difference between him and the Clintons with SA?

Assuming you are correct, what can you point to showing that he has?

The Trump administration is delaying Russia sanctions that Congress demanded - Vox

President Donald Trump’s administration missed its deadline to implement sanctions on Russia — and Republicans in Congress are starting to worry about why.
"I'm going to get on the phone with someone," Sen. Bob Corker (R-TN), who played a key role negotiating the sanctions bill as chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, told reporters on Wednesday. The bill was a direct punishment for Russia’s meddling in the 2016 presidential election.
The law, which passed with overwhelming bipartisan support in Congress and which Trump signed into law in early August, required the administration to identify which Russian entities would be penalized with new sanctions by October 1. They still have not done so. The State Department has said it is “working to complete the process and provide the public guidance to the relevant people just as soon as possible.”
Republicans have stopped short of claiming that the administration’s delays have been strategic. "We're going to check into it,” Corker said. “I don't have any way of evaluating whether it's purposeful or not purposeful."
But it’s no secret that Trump, who has emphasized wanting a warmer relationship with Russia, did not want to sign the bill into law — and did so grudgingly. At the time, he released a statement claiming he is much better at dealmaking than Congress is and angrily tweeted that Republican lawmakers were ruining his relationship with Russia.

Latest US sanctions against Russia a work in progress - CNNPolitics

Washington (CNN)President Donald Trump reluctantly approved new sanctions against Russia on August 2 after Congress sent him a bill with strong bipartisan backing, but the administration still hasn't implemented them.

Just for starters.

How effective have the previous sanctions been? What's the use in increasing them?

I don't know, but they must have some effect if Putin keeps trying to get them undone.

And in any event, that is not Trump's call. The Congress passed them. Trump begrudgingly signed the bill. But now it seems the administration is dragging their feet on it and the explanation for that is jumbly word blah blah blah.

I am kind of mystified that the Congress isn't making a bigger deal out of this. Makes me wonder if they know that it is part and parcel of the coming judgment of Trump.

They’re not making a bigger deal out of this because the decision to or when to implement sanctions wholly lies with the President. Foreign policy is under the preview of the executive branch, not the legislative.

The Congress disagrees. And if Trump truly believed that, he could take court action to test it.

Not just sit on them to do his pal Vlad a solid.

What reason does he have to take congress to court? It would be the other way around and the reason congress hasn't is because they know they would lose.
