TrumPutinGate

Obviously, two things happened on August 21, 2018 with Manafort and Cohen. Let's consider their import and the change in the dynamic they caused.

First, Manafort. None of the convictions has anything to do with Trump. But his sentencing, plus a second trial a few weeks from now, creates enormous pressure on Manafort to flip on Trump. He might not. But if he has the golden ticket, now is the time to redeem it.

Second, Cohen. Today, Cohen stated that Donald Trump directed him to commit a crime. That crime is not about Russia. It's serious, and was done twice. But it's not about Russia.

However, Cohen's lawyer tonight suggested that he might have information that Trump knew in advance that the Russian computer hack was going to happen. THAT, without question, would be collusion and likely criminal conspiracy.

We'll see what happens. But things changed today. It's going to move quickly now. We are in a new phase.

GO KING TRUMP!

He's not quite there yet, but Eric Swalwell will be a serious candidate for President soon.
He loathes Trump more than I do.

They picked the absolute worst of the Trump supporters to try to represent the majority. You know darn well what they did.
Fox News frequently portrays Black Lives Matter and ANTIFA as being typical of liberal activism. They also describe Maxine Waters as "the voice of the Democratic Party" rather than just the individual voice that she is. Portraying the lunatic fringe of a party as representative of the greater whole is a common partisan tactic.

Speaking in terms of the campaigns and administration as a whole, Trump's team has much more in common with the Nixon years (4 felons and Scott Pruitt). And 1976 did see a blue wave - big time.
In 1976 it was a “red wave”. Dems were red in those days. Know your party history.
