You're overplaying that card. We understand that you are embarrassed by him, and that he has character issues/ But you talk like this is a new thing all of a sudden. Your boy John F couldn't keep his pecker in his pants and was having affairs with celebrities. The press knew and just left him alone. LB Johnson was crude, rude, sexist, racist and a massive bully. He actually dictated notes to female secretaries while urinating, just to make them uncomfortable. The first few elections after the country was founded saw the bitterest, most juvenile public insults ever, as the country grappled for a more or less democratic/republic model.

You guys have all of a sudden pulled an imaginary rabbit out of the hat as to what "presidential" is while ignoring history. And this isn't "whataboutism", it's about you guys rewriting history because you despise a single person.

I dont understand the appeal of 'what others think about us' either. I see it posted about UT all the time. How we're a laughing stock. I stopped caring what other people who arent trusted friends or family thought about me years ago. Why a grown man would say our team, our president, our anything is an embarrassment baffles me.

Same here. This will step on a LOT of toes around here since you brought UT into it, but I'll say it anyway. But to be so worried what other people think, shows an incredibly weak spine, a terribly low self image, and a lack of general internal strength. IN this area, Trump is showing much more internal strength and character than the ones who constantly cry about what other people think of us.

I have news for everyone. Catering to other people's opinion of you is weakness. Doing what you think is right despite what others think is strength and true leadership.

Well said. I hope what you posted doesn't step on toes. It is absolutely true. In the football sense, I dont want rivals to like our program. I expect them to loathe it. I expect them to mock us just as we do them.
Same for our president. Other countries should be copying what we do well. But if they want to wring their hands at our loudmouth in chief that's no big deal to me.

Notice that other countries are falling in line with American policy. They aren't walking all over us anymore. Trump is a lot of things that I don't like, but he's obviously a strong leader.
