This is an interesting discussion. Apparently people forget that Clinton was accused of some similarly shady **** and used his presidential power to pardon the people who got convicted. I’ve privately wondered, over the last two years, whether Clinton was the seed that sprouted the Trump tree. If he’d have been held accountable for lying to investigators, as he should have been, we wouldn’t have people splitting hairs over the merits of Trump’s crimes.

Just my recollection of the whitewater investigation. Wasn’t it a crooked real estate deal and the Clintons were accused of strong arming or duping people into contributing? Like a Ponzi scheme.
