Ecuador's president: 'The road is clear' for Assange to leave embassy

Ecuadorian President Lenín Moreno on Thursday said "the road is clear" for WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange to leave his country's embassy in London, saying he has been assured Assange would not face extradition to faces charges abroad.

The United Kingdom and Ecuador have been quietly discussing Assange's eventual departure from the embassy for months, The Associated Press reported.

The only way he will leave is if Russian Diplomats pull up to the doors and take him to Russia, never to be heard from again. Cooperating with Mueller might not be a bad option for him.

He has a good bit of dirt on Killary. He’d probably meet the same fate.

Attorneys for Maria Butina and the Justice Department gave more signs Thursday morning they are negotiating a plea deal for the accused Russian spy.
In a conference call with a federal judge in Washington, the attorneys said another upcoming hearing in the case should be canceled and that subpoenas planned for American University, where Butina was a graduate student, may be withdrawn by the end of this week.
Both prosecutors and defense attorneys have previously indicated they were negotiating to end Butina's case.

Butina's attorney asks for her to be released from solitary

Butina was charged this summer for illegally acting as a foreign agent for Russia and accused of trying to create a back channel for Russia through activist groups, including the National Rifle Association.

She is currently being held in solitary confinement at a Northern Virginia jail, her attorneys have said. So far, she has maintained her innocence, saying she was never a foreign agent and simply a foreign student studying in America.

I don't think an AG can order a Federal Investigator to refrain from turning evidence of a crime over to state or local authorities. Now the AG might be able to have the investigator turn it over to him and let him handle it. But there will always be a record of it and Congress will have access to it.
i was replying to talk of his scope, not evidence in hand.
