Nothing wrong with the "Trump Tower Moscow" project on the surface (though gifting a $50 million penthouse to Putin would raise eyebrows), but just like almost everything else concerning Trump, he arouses suspicion because he lied about it... throughout the 2016 campaign and beyond.

I'm beginning to wonder if he even knows when he's lying. He may just be ignorant of what's going on around him. That or he's just ****ing stupid.

He doesn't. He just says what feels best to him at the time; objective truth is catching up with him and as it does he's forced to make up new narratives or crises to help mask the blowback. The Syria shtshow was possibly his worst effort, what was supposed to make him long strong and resolute after getting "Eiffel Towered" by Nancy and Chuck makes the U.S. look weak and unorganized.

It's not even surprising that he could be this thoughtless.

It was supposed to be Trump laying a beatdown, no way he'd have invited all those folks into his lair if he'd have foreseen how it would turn out. Agree though, our elected leaders are mind-numbingly idiotic, all of them - both sides.

Whitaker was advised by the ethics panel at DOJ that he should recuse himself from the Mueller probe.

He has declined to do so.

The fix is in.
