Trying to Ruin Running Through the "T"!

I wish our team would actually run through the T and circle up on the sideline afterwards like they used to. I always gauged how fired up and ready to play we were by the way we ran through the T. Now days it's a nice gingerly jog and that's about it.
Guess I'm getting old...............

I'm glad someone else noticed this too. It drives me crazy... you're starting off a game at Neyland; you should be going nuts!

Warn the other team in advance to respect our home and our traditions or suffer the consequences. Put State Troopers in between; they disobey them, they leave in cuffs. Put em on clear notice in advance then let them make their own choices.

Umm yeah that wouldn't blow up in UT's face, not to mention State Troopers don't just do what you tell them to.

On the other hand we'd definitely be the lead on Sportscenter.

Shouldn't expect much less from classless teams coached by classless coaches.... Seems there are a few of those out there....

Classless fans as well. Did anyone else at the game hear their idiots fans chanting LSU, LSU, LSU... when Prentiss was down on the field?? God, that pissed me off.

Every single game, like LSU, the opposing team intentionally runs out while we are running through the "T"!
This is really pi**ing me off and everyone is doing it. Even the commentators mentioned it as a "surprise". I believe we should respect each others traditions. I wouldnt want TN to do this to other teams. Its part of what make college football great! However if they dont stop then we should do the same. Run onto the field as soon as they start running out!

Have I just not noticed before? I dont think so, DD needs to address this.

it ticks me off also, but the only thing thats gonna stop it is when ut finally starts kicking the other teams a$$ when they do it.

I went to the Ohio State Colorado game this year and the OSU band played Colorado's fight song so I guess in 2019 you will hear Rocky Top in columbus.

No, you're more likely to hear Down the Field as that is UT's fight song.

And some wonder why this program is in the state it is in. Good Lord, grow up. Fights? Police? Pregame phone requests to opposing coaches? Wow :cray:

Did you never see security keeping people from going on to the field at the end of the game? Just trying to say, if we want it stopped, we can get it stopped. This is supposed to be about just playing a football game, and the other team is the visiting guests. We set how its gonna be at our home. That is all.
