He isn't in the Ozarks. He is in East Arky Duck hunting. The best duck hunting in the world is near Stuttgart Ark. He is not very far from Mack Prarie wings. (I'll be there in January)

Still only a few hours from Fayettville.

Well, I'd say it's a done deal!

I don't know about that. You would be surprised how many coaches hunt there every year. Plus he is from South Arky and hunts there every year.

I still think it is a stretch but like I said about Ole Miss out bidding Ga Tech.

I think Tommy is still pissed about the stab in the back from Auburn, maybe he's thinking it would be nice to finish his career back home. "Home" means a lot.

Tommy is in a nice position for upping his salary. Beat Bama 6 years in a row and he really doesn't give a damn if he stays or not.

If Tubby goes to Arky he'll also get the complimentary set of Ginzu steak knives for coaching 3 SECW schools.

Auburn will have to pay $4 mil plus to get Petrino, according to some people I know in Atlanta.

The SEC west is trying to match the wackiness of the regular season in the off season. Can you imagine Nutt to Ole Miss, Tubbs to Arkansas, and Saban to LSU?

If all that happens, maybe we'll also see Croom go back to his alma mater, Alabama

It doesn't sound right to me either. Apparently they say that he has always wanted the Ark job but was passed over years ago. They were comparing it to an old girlfriend that dumped you but years later wants you back. Do you go? No unless she still looks good and has lots of money!

The moves discussed here would definately make the SEC West one hostile set of SEC games next season. Not that they are not already, but to imagine Tubbs at Ark, Nutt at Ole Miss, and this rumor of Saban back to LSU, it would make for interesting games on Saturday's next season. Plus, it would be fun to watch and listen to Alabama fans cry, moan, and fume over losing their Bear Jr. after just one season.

Tubberville going to Arkansas just sounds really weird...

Why would you give up a job at Auburn for Arkansas...

That sounds like your moving down the ladder...

Doesn't it?

I live in Alabama and this is what I take from it. After listening to friends and people on the radio, I feel that Auburn fans treat him like trash. A majority of the fans want him to leave. This is what I dont understand. He took them to an undefeated season 4 years ago, he has constantly won 10 ball games a year, and he has beaten Bama 6 years straight. That is unheard of in this state. Bama fans want him to leave too. They are sick of losing to Auburn. Tubby is from Arkansas and they dont appreciate him in Auburn. Why not take some more money and go home? Just my two cents.

Tuberville is not that good of a coach IMO. He has surrounded himself with good coaches (which might make him a good coach). I think I contraricted myself. Anyway..... he was on his way out until the Admin forced him to do something about his ACs. I think they still owe him something like $12million.
