May turn out to be true, but I certainly wouldn't trust Rainey's sources. He's the worst sports show guy I've ever heard and rarely has the facts. Just my opinion.

In Birmingham, very little being said about it, I do know that. Sexton's way of spinning and getting Tubby out of that 6 million dollar buyout at Auburn...

Well, lets look at all of the stupidity. Auburn got caught with their pants down trying to hire Petrino behind his back. He then went on to kick serious ass in the SEC. He grew up in Arkansas and coming home is something a lot of folks would consider. Wooo pig sooie.....

Auburn attempted to interview another coach. Arkansas invaded their coach's privacy, flew insulting banners over the stadiums on gameday, and seemed more interested in a few high school kids than their coach of ten years.

Well, he is doing something right, is record against top 10 teams is off the chart, his road record outstanding, and in his time at Auburn has won more games, other than USC. Auburn doesnt recruit that well, at SEC standards, but his players get coached up to a high level. So I would say he evaluates talent very, very well, players and coaches.

What a turn of events? That's a surprise to me! Thought they liked him at Auburn. Hmmm?
Guess we'll have to wait and see if it get confirmed or not. Don't know why he'd go from a good sports program at Auburn and go to Arkansas even though they had a good team to this season. Who knows. Stay tuned to the 11 o'clock news to find out.

Excellent points. Not to mention the Tiger/ War Eagles whipped the gators allowing the Volunteers into the SEC title game day after tommorrow.

Not arguing that Arkansas is full of dumbasses, just that they have a boat load of money and Tubby would like to get some of his homeboy money. The Waltonbacks also like to show they can get their way.

it was just reported on the radio here in Charlotte that this is a done deal.......Tubbs to ARK.

likely Bobby Petrino to be the 1st choice for Auburn.

There's a writeup on rivals saying the Auburn A.D. hasn't even been asked for permission to talk to Tubberville. Weird...

The way Arkansas fans treated Houston Nutt, why would Tuberville think he would be treated better at Arkansas then Auburn? True Auburn fans dont appreciate him. LSU would be a different story, a better program and the fan base isn't as fickle.
