Let's say there is an average in NYC of 1 suicide every Monday.
Then on this particular Monday there were 147 suicides.
A thinking person may conclude that there was something that caused this dramatic increase.

OK, this is where things get fuzzy and that's where we get into trouble. We have to assess why they committed suicide and that could be a long discussion and opinions could vary. Aside from other possibilities like mental illness, there's the issue of the stress of Jan 6th causing it. You contend that it's due to the protestors. I would add that it would not have been so stressful if Nancy Pelosi had better security. She had plenty of warning yet she did not have proper security that day. I could just as well say Nancy Pelosi killed them...but I'm not an extremist so I won't go that far

Even your Pelosi opinion still amounts to "a result of Jan. 6", which was the claim. The specific parts of Jan. 6 that caused the result can be opinion, but the suicides being a result of Jan. 6 is pretty much a fact.
