Tucker Carlson Obsession Thread (merged)

The New York Times reported it based on two witness reports. They retracted the story as soon as they knew it was false.
Also the Capital Police released a statement on Jan 7 saying he had died as a result of injuries form Jan 6.

Misinformation immediately following a riot of that magnitude isn't the least bit unusual. Both parties updated their reports as better information became available.....something Fox should try sometime.
Pretty sure it wasn't till the autopsy report was released the NYT fixed the story. After the was determined natural causes... This all while the next day and film showed him alive... Seems dishonest don't you think?

The next policy idea from you will be replete with emotion and idealism. The realities are much different. I was once where you are when I was younger but it's a stage I finally grew out of with maturity.
lol......I once accepted what the people I idolized told me without question, but then I turned 6.

Maybe you're just a late bloomer.

So they ran with an unverified story because they wanted to believe it for shock value even if not true. Again the NYT is a rag that didn't under played the holocaust deep into the war. They've been a left wing paper for a very long time. Mark Levin tells the history of the NYT better than anyone. These days the democrat party tries to rewrite history.

google "Fox viewers and factual knowledge"...............enjoy

In looking I quickly came across this:

How Factual Is CNN?
Over a dataset of 1,000 articles, CNN scored an average Factual Grade of 53.3%. This is well below the average of 61.9% for all 240 news sources that we analyzed, placing CNN in the 15th percentile.
The site’s tendency to exclusively use internal links helps explain these low scores. This means that articles from CNN routinely score poorly in terms of cited evidence. Additionally, many articles use opinionated language or headlines.

I don't find that the least bit surprising.

I don't know anyone who believed 5 police offices died that day.
Except MSM is saying that they did

I'm pretty sure that they are not saying that.
we’ll look at that. Sorry to break reality to you. Decades of defending the left just broken in one request for a link.

In bold 5
Read carefully...I bolded the important words.

He died of a stroke. It could have been coincidental, but it's not far fetched to believe Jan. 6 played a significant role in the stroke.
But you're saying it was 4 and not 5? Okay/

The other 4 were suicides. Jan 6 didn't kill them. They killed themselves. That doesn't count. If you kill yourself tonight, VolNation is not the cause of your death. It doesn't work that way.

And the stock market crash wasn't the cause of all of the suicides on Black Monday?
