Yes. Her actions removed all credibility for this committee with the results we see in the American public today. Her actions are also the reason Tucker Carlson is called upon to bring needed transparency for all Americans versus the edited and scripted production provided by Pelosi and the ABC news production team.

I'm for a functioning 2-party system.
She is in no way trying to silence the minority, she is merely refusing to give radicalized partisan showmen a platform. The repubs could have easily had 5 members on the committee.
Putting zero on a committee would be the opposite of what needs to happen - that increases the divide.
Keeping the lunatic fringe off of committees decreases the divide.
I'll go back to my recommendation.
Rs pick 10 Ds to rank all Rs from least to most partisan.
Ds pick 10 Rs to rank all Ds from least to most partisan.
Make it a new tradition that no one who ranks among the most partisan WILL EVER get a good placement.
It's the same for both sides and penalizes the partisan nonsense.

That's nonsense. It was the actions of McCarthy to not allow 5 even moderately reasonable republicans to serve on the committee. It was McCarthy's decision to have no representation beyond the two republicans that actually had the spine to do what they knew to be right against the wishes of the leadership of their own party.
The shame lies squarely on the repubs.
But feel free to take the Fox twist.....they always tell you what you want to hear, even when they know it is a lie.

I disagree. The government and media have been complicit since the 60’s and it’s only gotten worse. Answers the question what’s blue and smells like red paint? Blue paint. They are one in the same.

Hmmm .... Not only did Tucker Carlson not believe the arguments which he made on his show, but it seems like his producer didn't believe them either. They also appear to have a very low opinion of their viewers ... "cousin f***ing terrorists" ... That's something below "deplorables," isn't it? LOL!!!!

... and yet, his viewers will remain steadfastly loyal, and continue supporting people who have no respect for them. Tucker Carlson and his producer, basically, think election deniers are white trash, but you guys will keep watching his show anyway, and @Franklin Pierce will keep celebrating his high ratings, which is apparently because people who f*** their cousins watch his show. LOL.

I think it's hilarious that certain posters continue to come back to a thread involving something they disagree with and don't watch.

Nobody that watches Tucker is going to change their minds based on something that comes from the same people who told everyone to wear masks, take shots, close down schools, not travel, that ivermectin is horse paste, that CV19 couldn't possibly have come from the WUHAN INSTITUTE OF VIROLOGY, that Hunter and Joe weren't involved in shady ass business overseas, that Jan 6 was "a violent insurrection that threatened our democracy," and now that the economy is in great shape.

I mean, wouldn't it make more sense for them to start their own thread on The View? I promise: I won't bother anyone in there.

That's silly. The January 6th Committee thread is filled with posters who disagree with their conclusions, while admitting that they did not watch a minute of those hearings. Do you think that is hilarious as well? Or does this just bother you because it reflects poorly on Republican sycophants?

These text message disclosures came to light from the discovery phase of Dominion's lawsuit against Fox News ... and you don't have to trust a reporter's take. All you have to do, in order to see that Tucker Carlson gives opinions on his how that he doesn't actually believe, is read the text messages, which are Tucker Carlson's own words. They make it clear that both he and his producer believe that the people who watch his show are white trash idiots. Carlson is just telling them what they want to hear, because that is good for ratings - which is all that he cares about.
