Why do you fear JW taking the lead spot?
I don't believe anyone FOX news puts up will get any support from you unless they go full Dem.Fox has a chance today to reinvent itself. To champion conservative values, not pop culture haranguing. Waters is the definition of the latter and, not only would Fox be losing this opportunity to become more responsible in their messaging and programming, but I actually think it would be a step backward for generating news coverage at the expense of just more outrage tv.

Prominent progressives are already celebrating the news of Tucker Carlson's sudden Fox News ousting - with the ladies of The View leading the charge with an on-air Mexican wave.

Right, because if there is one thing we can say with certainty, it is that liberals are just not well represented on news media todayFox can come back stronger than ever if they go back to their Roger Ailes roots. Get shows like Hannity & Colmes and O'Reilly Factor where they had liberals represented. I like the all sides presented like CNN Crossfire and PBS McLaughlin Report. No cable news station is doing that now so it's untapped market
Got no problem with it. The dismissal of Carlson, if that is what it was, should be celebrated by all who base politics on seriouys discussion of the problems we have today, not simply harkening back to Mayberry RFD.
It is unhinged celebrating the separation of either Carlson or Lemmon. It is evident that people have such holes in their lives that they see cable news personalities as super heroes or villains. The good thing is that the trend is that tv news is dying and not a moment too soon. They are the biggest purveyors of ignorance and idiocy.Got no problem with it. Ah, now your views make sense. Your ânewsâ source sucks.I don't watch CNN, so I really don't know much about him. I've read that he has been with the network for 17 years. That was surprising to me. I have only been reading things about him for 3 or 4 years. The only cable news show I watch is Rachel Maddow ... and she is only on Monday nights now.
The outrage element creates the most intrigue unfortunately.Fox has a chance today to reinvent itself. To champion conservative values, not pop culture haranguing. Fox News alum Megyn Kelly was among the first to publicly comment on Carlsonâs departure.
âGood for Tucker. Trust me, he doesnât need them,â she said:
Christian Ziegler, chair of the Republican Party of Florida, suggested that Carlson launch his own network âimmediately,â deeming him the âsingle most important and effective voice in news.â
âThe best decision I ever made was leaving Fox,â former Arizona GOP gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake remarked. âGood for you, @TuckerCarlson. Youâre free & uncensored!â:
Charlie Kirk noted that the leftâs celebrations may be a bit premature.
âThe left is celebrating because they think that Tucker Carlson leaving Fox News eliminates his voice. Wrong,â he warned:
Eric Trump openly pondered what is going on internally at Fox News, given the string of recent departures.
âFirst it was @LaraLeaTrump, then @dbongino now @TuckerCarlson⌠What is happening to Fox?â he asked:
Host Glenn Beck predicted that this move will âKILL Foxâ and already invited him to join The Blaze:
The Daily Wireâs Jeremy Boreing also addressed inquiries on if Carlson is joining Daily Wire.
âA lot of people are asking if @TuckerCarlson is coming to @realDailyWire. I suspect Tucker already has a plan, but weâd break out the big novelty checkbook for him if he doesnât,â he wrote:
James Golden, also known as the late Rush Limbaughâs right hand man âBo Snerdly,â predicted that Carlson âwill have more offers to chose [sic] from than any other media personality in recent historyâ in the next 24 hours:
Conservatives React to Tucker Carlson's Fox Departure: 'He Doesn't Need Them'
If he's smart he creates his own podcast and has it sponsored out the Wahoo so his content is free to the consumer. No doubt - that deafening thundering sound you hear is the footsteps of media companies trying to make him an offer before someone else snags him. I would bet though it will be some sort of deal where he is never worried about being fired again aka, he owns a significant piece of it.
Wonder if his contract had a non compete or non disparagement clause. If Tucker doesnât make a quick move, we can probably assume that he gets several hundred million to lay low for a time. But when he is ready to make a move, he can name his price. No doubt - that deafening thundering sound you hear is the footsteps of media companies trying to make him an offer before someone else snags him.
