If Dick Morris said it then it is probably not true.Dick Morris to Newsmax: Carlson's Exit Makes Newsmax Voice of the Right
Political author Dick Morris on Monday said that with Tucker Carlson out at Fox News, Newsmax is now the number one network for conservatives.
"Newsmax is now the sole conservative voice in media," Morris told "American Agenda" during his appearance. "And Fox News can talk about that, but by firing Carlson, they have decidedly moved to the left and to the center."

A real intellectual aims for truth. That ain't Rachel.Rachel Maddow supports her opinions and constructs better arguments than anyone else on cable news. Her monologues will often begin with a historical reference comparable to a modern event which she builds her argument around. It's a very effective way to make a point. She is an intellectual. Fox News only employs emotionally charged Republican Party sycophants.
Since Tucker Carlson has more than likely signed an NDA, we will probably never know the reason for his firing. However, Dominion's CEO, John Poulos, was asked if Carlson's termination was a term of the settlement and he replied, "No comment." Maybe that indicates something ... maybe it doesn't. It doesn't really matter anyway. He's gone.I don't watch Fox/Tucker but I'm not sure what Tucker has do to with it. Megan Kelly's comment that Carlson was not involved with the Dominion assertions made by some others is backed up by HuffPo: Defamation Suit Produced Trove Of Tucker Carlson Messages Rather, it appears he broke ranks with whatever hosts were supporting a voting machine scandal. The speculation @BowlBrother85 that his ouster was a condition of that suit seems unlikely. The Guardian is reporting it's due to a pending discrimination suit by a former producer: Tucker Carlson fired on Murdoch’s orders over discrimination lawsuit, report says – live
Lastly, Carlson, Hannity and Ingraham emails were made public as part of the lawsuit used by Dominion lawyers. An exchange between them showed dissatisfaction with Wallace and another I assume to be head of something (News?), and that the three of them had a lot of power and could potentially force change. That could easily be seen as mutinous by Murdoch, who certainly knew about the discrimination lawsuit prior, and possibly used that to fire Carlson and put Hannity and Ingraham on notice.

Also, Fox's statement following the settlement referenced a commitment to "the highest journalistic standards." That's a tough sell if you are still employing someone who tried to have a reporter fired for accurately fact-checking Donald Trump - because he thought it was bad for ratings.

It did not matter to Carlson that the fact-check was accurate. His only concern was with the Nielsen ratings.
You're entitled to that opinion, but for what it's worth, I disagree.A real intellectual aims for truth. That ain't Rachel.
On that I agree. You're entitled to that opinion, but for what it's worth, I disagree.
Rachel Maddow was way out in front of the Flint, Michigan water crisis. She covered it aggressively, when most media outlets (including those on the left) weren't covering it at all. This was a truth which needed to be told.

They defamed them. It's not frivolous. It may not have as much weight as Dominion but it sure as **** isn't frivolous. And we don't know what it's worth bc Dominion settled. My guess it's another several hundred million dollar settlement. For once again lying! Knowingly lying. But idiots
.
Fox Business host Lou Dobbs had been outspoken during his program about the accusations; on December 18 his program aired a video segment refuting the accusations, consisting of an interview with Edward Perez, an election technology expert at the Open Source Election Technology Institute, which fact checked allegations regarding the company (including those that had been made by Fox). Dobbs himself did not comment.[146][147] Fox News hosts Jeanine Pirro and Maria Bartiromo had also been outspoken about the allegations, and both their programs aired the same video segment over the following two days.[148] On December 21, Newsmax similarly complied with the request and presented an on-air clarification.[149]
Did Maddow ever do a retraction to her segment on how getting the vaccine stops the Covid virus from spreading. Seems she was promoting pharmaceutical companies for profits and health data that wasn’t proven at the expense of her viewers. You're entitled to that opinion, but for what it's worth, I disagree.

So Dims have free speech but Repubes don’t.Rachel Maddow supports her opinions and constructs better arguments than anyone else on cable news.
