Tucker Carlson Obsession Thread (merged)

You would have presented an episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! as evidence in a court of law? LOL. Don't you think most people would laugh at that? You would look like a fool, who didn't know a joke when he saw one.

I wouldn't look no more foolish than Biden admitting it happened . LOL

LOL. I will find that video and post it in it's entirety. You know damn well that the rest of what he said provides some significant missing context. Actually, what you just did right here is even dumber than pointing toward the Jimmy Kimmel interview. You have a willingness to misrepresent and lie.

Look at this contradictory word salad

What the president is trying to do is discourage people from voting by implying that their vote won’t be counted, it can’t be counted, we’re going to challenge it and all these things. If enough people vote, it’s going to overwhelm the system.

That's not true. There was no evidence that collusion between the 2016 Trump Campaign and the Russian governement occurred. The point I always make about that, however, is that it wasn't from a lack of effort on Trump Jr.'s part. The June 9, 2016 Trump Tower meeting with Natalia Veselnitskaya and agents of the Russian government did occur. The e-mail exchanges between Rob Goldstone and Trump Jr. make it clear that the purpose of the meeting was for opposition research on Hillary Clinton to be exchanged. Veselnitskaya and her associates didn't have anything but already publicly available information to exchange, however. Goldstone had over-hyped their dirt. Collusion didn't occur ... but only because the Russians didn't have the goods. This is what I always have said ... Collusion didn't happen, but the June 9, 2016 Trump Tower meeting justified the suspicions and the Mueller probe ... especially when taking Trump's lies about the purpose behind the meeting into account.

No; you don't simply appoint a special counsel on such flimsy shite; how ludicrous. You either have zero sense of proportion or no concern for rule of law and process because 'Trump'. Just as the FBI sent agents to talk to Flynn, that's how you initiate inquiry. But then why would they do that when they'd already set on a course in 2016 by falsifying information and FISA warrants. WHAT they should have done is given the Trump team the defensive briefing that is customary to say "we think you are being approached by malevolent foreign agents", as they typically do.

First, you presuppose that team Trump would not have notified FBI of such information had they come into receipt of it; that's an assumption. Second, you assume illegality where there is none; the meeting - even if yielding dirt - is not illegal. Lastly, Clinton fabricating from whole cloth a collusion narrative - the Obama WH, DOJ/FBI being told that by Brennan - and using foreign agents to do it, is a far greater injury to the country than talking with some Russians and Jews at Trump tower. They literally knew that foreign agent Steele's involvement was motivated by having Trump defeated, but they used his dossier - Russian 'sourced' - as the centerpiece of trying to prevent him from being elected, and then to seditiously depose him. Meeting Russians for dirt on Clinton? It may be immoral but it's not illegal | CNN

Your premise is, again, either having no knowledge or else no respect for rule of law.

Fox took a billion dollar stock haircut after they announced that Carlson was fired. How much worse could they have suffered if they went to court and duked it out?

Who knows. Conservatives need to adopt these fight tactics against slanderous media. It won't get by the Senate but I'd like to see a bill from the House adopting libel/slander laws for Congress, Presidency, and bureaucracy. They damned sure should do it if they can capture the Senate/WH. That they can recklessly screw the country over with unfounded hoaxes is unconscionable, and dangerous.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), a representative of the U.S. government, cheered the “deplatforming” of conservative media figure Tucker Carlson, saying that “deplatforming works” and “is important.”

“Deplatforming works, and it is important and there you go. Good things can happen,” she said in a video on her Instagram account, after news broke that Tucker Carlson was out at Fox News.

She also claimed Tucker was responsible for death threats to her office and “plenty of people across the country,” saying:

You actually do ... especially when one of the people involved has been caught lying about the purpose of the meeting. Why did Trump Jr. lie about the purpose of the meeting?

You’re saying that elected officials and bureaucrats should be able to sue people who criticize them?

Complete nonsense from Gangster Jr. The mainstream media would have reported the facts--that the gangster's top campaign staff met with a Russian operative. Period.

I'll take "How you know FoxNews made a bad decision for $1000."

Remember Schiff getting that prank phone call for dirt on Trump? Where is the investigation?
I forgot all about the lies to the FISA court. Where is the investigation and proceedings?
