Tucker Carlson Obsession Thread (merged)

Tucker already has the Kremlin's endorsement.
Oh good grief. Try coming up with something ORIGINAL for once dude 🙄
There are a lot of people who despise Russia but really don’t want us bankrupting ourselves and depleting our arsenal of weaponry and ammunition as a result. It is not a binary choice you know

Tucker does not despise Russia. He recites their propaganda all the time ... and they love him for it.

Go work for "Russia Today" in Moscow?
You DO know that Zelenskyy is accepting foreign volunteers for the Ukrainian military right? If you feel so strongly about Russia, I can gladly help you with travel arrangements. Or are you just happy to sit here criticizing? Put some real skin in the game if it is so important to you.
BTW, I LOVE Ukraine. They are the true cradle of Russian civilization and were Christianized and cultured when Muscovy was just a few huts on a mud flat on the Moscow river. But I am not in love enough to send my kids to FIGHT for them. And like many Americans, I would be much happier to support Ukraine if the Europeans actually took things seriously enough to start increasing THEIR military budgets. Why is every problem in Eastern Europe automatically our problem to fix?

I'm against Russian state-run propaganda being broadcast to American audiences. It's disgusting. Tucker Carlson being off of American cable news is a great thing.

Tucker Carlson Duped By Fake Russian Propaganda Docs on Ukraine War

EXCLUSIVE: 'Appetizers plus entrée!' Looks like Tucker Carlson doesn't give two Fox about his ouster from network - gleefully telling DailyMail.com his future plans while tooling off to a romantic date night with wife Susan

It's been barely two days since his brutal ouster from Fox News - but Tucker Carlson looks like a man without a care in the world.

The TV firebrand shrugged off the media storm and insisted he was more interested in enjoying a romantic date with his wife Susan as he broke his silence in an exclusive chat with DailyMail.com.

'Retirement is going great so far,' chuckled Carlson, 53, as he emerged from his $5.5 million beach home in Boca Grande, Florida on Tuesday night.

'I haven’t eaten dinner with my wife on a weeknight in seven years.'

'Rupert Murdoch doesn't like all that spiritual talk': Tucker Carlson was fired after preaching about good, evil and the need for prayer - after tycoon's ex-fiancée Ann Lesley Smith said the firebrand anchor was a 'messenger from God'

One of the contributors to Tucker Carlson's sudden firing from Fox this week may have been an evangelical speech on Friday night where he preached about 'good and evil', according to a source cited by Vanity Fair.

Some sources say Murdoch and other Fox News executives were outraged by Carlson's unflattering remarks about them that became public in the Dominion lawsuit record. Others say it was down to a recent discrimination lawsuit filed against him and some of his most senior staff by a former booking producer.

Vanity Fair's Gabriel Sherman cites sources who say overtly religious displays such as Carlson's on Friday night 'freak' Rupert Murdoch 'out'.

'That stuff freaks Rupert out. He doesn’t like all the spiritual talk.'

The speech came just a few weeks after Murdoch's ex-fiancée, Ann Lesley Smith, is said to have called Carlson a 'messenger from God'.

The pair had discussed religion during a recent dinner at Murdoch's Bel Air vineyard. Murdoch called off the brief engagement after two weeks.

Kyiv was one of my favorite layovers.

Kyiv was one of my favorite layovers.
It was on my list. I heard it was quite affordable with some really good places to visit. Then again, Russia was on my list to visit too. I guess my bucket list item to taking the world’s longest train journey, the Trans Siberian, will probably never get checked off now. Russia is going to be a no go destination for decades now unless things there change dramatically. I wanted to see the Hermitage museum in St Petersburg too.
I guess I will just have to settle for watching this and grieving in silence

Russian Ark is a unique and historical movie, celebrating over three centuries of Russian art and culture via a single 1 hour and 38 minute continuous camera shot with no cuts whatsoever. But the relationship between us and them is now broken and there is only sadness and pain

Because we are NATO, and the big brother standing over their shoulder so they can put their defense budgets into social spending.
It's odd how Biden isn't "starting WWIII!!". I'm still waiting on the Iranian sleeper cells in the U.S. to wake up and attack after the Soleimani killing. Aside from the Kabul bombing, they've just haven't met expectations.

I may watch that later this week.

I may watch that later this week.
It is visually stunning. Remember As you Are watching it that a single mistake or missed que by any of the thousands of actors and extras would have wrecked the entire shot. I believe they only had the museum for a total of three days to get it perfect. I found a commentary was useful in identifying some of the historical figures that appear. Of course, the most poignant is pretty obvious with Tsar Nicholas II, his wife Alexandra, and their five children, soon to be butchered by the Marxist monsters under Lenin
The running unspoken question, as dissected by the unnamed European nobleman who we converse with throughout the film is “is Russia part of Europe or is it uniquely Asiatic?” Which of course is the ongoing undecided issue dating all the way back to Peter the Great (also appearing in the film) who drug Muscovy kicking and screaming into the West when he established St Petersburg itself on land wrenched from Charles XII and Sweden in the Great Northern War. One could argue that Putin is the anti Peter as he seems to be severing all ties with Europe
It is tragic beyond words how such a creative and long suffering people have been so ill served by the leadership. The Russian people just have never been able to catch a break but have been led by either monsters or idiots (sometimes both simultaneously)

Former Arkansas Governor, Mike Huckabee, had his own show on Fox News for 6 years. He is an ordained Baptist Minister, who would frequently cite passages of scripture on his show.

I doubt that played a role in Carlson's ouster.
