Carlson, Hannity, Lemon, Maddow, Cuomo . . . The whole genre just bores me. Obviously they get ratings, but why do I need to spend an hour listening to push journalism from somebody whose angle is predictable to the point that I already know what they're going to say? It's not news, its newstainment.
I haven’t watched one hour of news or such in months. Tired of listening and seeing themCarlson, Hannity, Lemon, Maddow, Cuomo . . . The whole genre just bores me. This..... someone once told me I was part of the problem for not watching the news. I would suggest they were part of the problem for sucking in such divisive drivel regardless of which channel they were currently watching.Carlson, Hannity, Lemon, Maddow, Cuomo . . . Putting personal politics aside I'm not sure anyone could look at our recent political situation with anything but this expression.
True but the difference is in his case it's feigned. His whole shtick is pseudo intellectual false equivalence. He mixes in the occasional weak straw man too.
Only those predisposed to like what he says, or who lack reasoning skills (I'd point out that the two overlap quite a bit) think his show has any value whatsoever.
