Tucker Carlson Obsession Thread (merged)

REVEALED: Kevin McCarthy Admits renting luxury DC apartment from powerful GOP pollster Frank Luntz, who Tucker Carlson has accused of being a secret LIBERAL

The most senior Republican in the House is renting his Washington DC home from a high-profile GOP pollster who has been accused of lobbying on behalf of 'liberal' causes, it emerged on Monday.

GOP house leader Kevin McCarthy is staying at the Penn Quarter condo owned by Frank Luntz.

Luntz, 59, runs a successful Republican polling and communications company, but in January declared that he no longer felt able to call himself a Republican.

On Friday Carlson said senior Republicans were disconnected from their supporters partly because they listen to 'conventional liberals' like Luntz, whom he accused of serving 'left-wing corporations'.

Most members of Congress rent or buy property in Washington DC, for when Congress is in session. Some stay in hotels, but most avoid staying with friends out of concern for ethics rules forbidding the acceptance of gifts.

He said that Luntz works for companies that oppose the Republican Party.

I think that McCarthy has Luntz in to speak to Repub congressmen, sharing his 'focus group polling' and telling them what Repubs need to be saying, far more damning. The apt is just icing.

'Trojan Horse' Luntz doesn't belong anywhere near nor should be patronized by Repubs.

I thought supporting a Marxofascist group in blackface, established upon a false premise and propagating a false narrative to couch anti-American/Western/capitalist objectives, indicates one is either a speech-stifling Marxofascist themself or ignorant of whom they support.

At any rate, the idea that Fox personalities who don't pretend to be journalists without bias should have a label suiting your sensibilities - while people/groups you patronize specialize in propaganda - is ludicrous.

While we're here, I'd like to find news without bias; turn us on to your sources, thanks.
The bold is another incredibly bad leap. Seem’s it’s an issue for you. 🤷‍♂️

Tucker‘s own station does not even find him credible. How many ignorant know he is not real news?

If Tucker states something factually incorrect on any given night, come here with the correction and document the correct fact.

So, you aren't a BLM supporter but acknowledging a self-evident truth (that black live matter) which no one needs blackface Marixsts to point out; okay. My apologies for the unsavory association.

I think we've ample evidence that "news" isn't necessarily predicated or frequented upon truth, and that bias doesn't preclude truth, even in the absence of "news". In fact, it's rather sensible viewed that way.

Your own link states Carlson's and some other Fox hosts are opinion shows; what don't you get?
Now, I'd still like those unbiased new sources when you have a chance, buddy.

I accept the apology generally, for your ignorance.
There is overwhelming and obvious need for the purpose. People who find excuses to sidetrack themselves from it are suspect to me.

^Different but interesting conversation on what is “news.” I suppose everyone has their own definition.

See above @ last sentence.
My point is that his rhetoric has proven to be dangerous and there should be disclaimers for the unintelligent. I’d feel the same way about a liberal equivalent.

Ouch, "ignorant" is a sparky retort for a person unable to discern between opinion and journalism, especially when his/her own link points it out. But I'll accept your ignorance as a minor flaw for now.

And there is an obvious and overwhelming need for what purpose, exactly?

Since you're unwilling to share unbiased news sources which many of us would like to profit from, can you share the precedent for stating Carlson's "rhetoric has proven to be dangerous" - ? What is your best, unassailable example of his "dangerous rhetoric" and the manifest example of that danger?

Can I get the bootleg footage from your experts that gave you this notion over two years later? I know it's not your fault and you didn't come up with this on your own.

What can I say? I obviously way overestimated the integrity of the decision makers at Fox.

The shoe definitely fits. Go get educated ASAP.
Above is another weird assumption btw that isn’t worth a retort. That makes three times in this short conversation. 😳 I hope your job has nothing to do with logic.

For disclaimers on incendiary fake news? To avoid another insurrection.

You’re trying too hard here. I have already clarified @ news.
Dangerous rhetoric? There‘s a long list. He often opines that white supremacy is "actually not a real problem in America." 😳😂

This is you:
Because I expect news without bias? Interesting leap.
You retracted, when I pointed out he's an opinion guy. Educate yourself in efficient communication.

From the clip, Carlson states you could fit the population of white supremacists in a football stadium and the idea that it's one of the country's premiere concerns is a lie, and there are far greater issues and lists some.

Your assertion is...an interesting leap. How did those comments incite an "insurrection" or endanger anyone?

Lmao you 1st 😂😂😂
Above is not what happened btw. Keep up please. I clarified in response to BV’s post. 🤦‍♂️

^Thanks for supporting my argument here. It is incredibly dangerous rhetoric that the ignorant will take as fact.

Sigh. Where did I say those specific comments incited an insurrection?

Okay, but I'm not BV, am I?
You spoke imprecisely while being a smart-ass; don't hand me an opportune club while doing so.

Support your argument? No, your argument was that Carlson's rhetoric has been proven dangerous. When asked for best example, you replied

and
Dangerous rhetoric? There‘s a long list. He often opines that white supremacy is "actually not a real problem in America." 😳😂

So while you're sighing and LYAO, perhaps you can offer a specific example of how "his (Carlson's) rhetoric has been proven dangerous" - ?
Do you understand the question this time?

No, you’re not BV (he can keep up) and my argument has always been that programs, such as TC’s, should be aired with disclaimers 🤦‍♂️

I understood your argument and from the outset asked why you think that necessary. You respond with some nonsense about preventing insurrections and Carlson's rhetoric having been proven "dangerous". You were asked to cite best example of that proven dangerousness and have been dancing since.

It's you that either doesn't understand your own argument or, having made a statement you can't back up, find yourself in a pickle. Again, demonstrate how Carlson's rhetoric carrying a disclaimer will prevent "insurrection" or not endanger someone again in a "proven" manner that you're unable to articulate - ?

Hang onto that 'L' friend; it has a good home.

I watched The Five today for the first time since before the election. It's a really good show. Jesse Watters and Greg Gutfeld are great together. Juan Williams brings up the rear.

Fox News dominates basic cable as struggling ‘New Day’ continues to drag down CNN

New co-host Brianna Keilar hasn’t been able to save CNN’s flagship morning show

Fox News Channel was the most-watched cable-news channel from April 26 through May 2, topping liberal networks CNN and MSNBC for the 11th straight week among both primetime and total day viewers as CNN’s "New Day" continues to drag down the liberal network despite multiple attempts to salvage the hapless morning show.

Fox News averaged 2.3 million primetime viewers to finish No. 1 in all of basic cable, even topping ESPN’s NFL Draft coverage. ESPN averaged 2.1 million viewers to finish second, while MSNBC averaged 1.6 million to finish third. "Tucker Carlson Tonight" averaged 2.9 million viewers to finish as the most-watched cable news program of the week.
