Need a conflict?

This two party system creates that.

This country lumps everyone who wants their vote to not be a throw away into either republican or democrat so we never actually vote for who we like in the end. We vote for who we hate less.

Who does that in a normal life?

We don’t pick restaurants, comes, homes, clothes based on which we hate less but here we are choosing idiots we hate less.

I hated trump less than Clinton but what a horrible choice of candidates we got.

I can partially agree it’s a one party system behind closed doors if that is what you are implying.

But it is no more than 2 parties at the end of the day until ranked balloting gets larger and counts in the general.

They both conspire to keep out any other party. They're both responsible for massive government corruption.

Maybe they will actually have weather news/reporting. Something the "Weather Channel " hasn't had in 5 years.

The Weather Channel clearly has created an opening for something like this. There are many hrs a day when they're not reporting the weather. They're also heavy on the global warming kick. They also concentrate too much on tropical storms and neglect weather in the rest of the country. I often try to watch them to see weather where I'm traveling to and these issues make that challenging. I find myself watching Accuweather all the more. I'd love another choice but it appears that this Fox Channel is going to be streaming only and not on cable

This fall, the network is set to launch Fox Weather, a platform for meteorology programming 24/7, rain or shine.* So does the Weather Channel, which is starting a streaming service it hopes will have 30 million subscribers by 2026—a far cry from Netflix’s more than 200 million subscribers, but on par with smaller streamers such as HBO Max and Hulu. According to The New York Times, these impending launches have led to bidding wars over star TV meteorologists, the building of posh new high-tech studios, and debates over the potential influence on public opinion: The prospect of Fox Weather is already worrying many, given the network’s history of climate-change denial.

New low? CNN’s ‘New Day’ draws only 76K Viewers among Demo Coveted by Advertisers

'It’s remarkably low viewership when putting these three numbers into context,' Joe Concha said

CNN’s "New Day" almost became "New Low" last week when the struggling morning show had its worst week since 2014 in the demographic coveted by advertisers.

"New Day" managed only 76,000 viewers among the key demo of adults age 25-54 for the week of July 5-11, its smallest audience in the crucial category since the week of June 23, 2014. FNC, Investigation Discovery, Hallmark, MSNBC, USA, NICK at Nite, TNT and ESPN all averaged more viewers among the key demo than "New Day," which managed to tie Nickelodeon in the category.

"New Day" averaged only 433,000 total viewers during the week for its lowest-rated week of 2021, while timeslot competition "FOX & Friends" delivered 1.1 million viewers. The recently revamped "New Day" has now failed to reach 500,000 average viewers for 11 straight weeks.
