Been listening to Finebaum the last two days. Both days there have been guys from credible sports media (Auburn Undercover and ) to say that Steve Spurrier is definitely in the mix.

The fact he didn't squash this rumor like he did at UT is definitley something to keep in mind.

I doubt Spurrier leaves USCjr for Auburn, but it would be quite funny.

Yea, it's 5 million buyout. Plz Aubie take Fisher, it will be a double win for UT. Aubie hires a lousey coach and UGlyA loses Richt to FSU in 2010.

Never thought Richt would leave UGA.... However, living in GA and hearing their fans lately, I wouldn't be surprised if he gave them the finger and said "C-YA"!!

Yeah, people are definitely dogging Richt. I think GA did the best the could with all the injuries.

UGA fans want a change on defense. They're upset with Richt bc of his rediculous excuses for the poor play of the D.

Spurrier would take the auburn job in a heartbeat if offered. He can win big there, but not at USc--he knows that now.

Surely to God not Jimbo Fisher?
apparently so. Heres what the morons at AU are thinking, they want the next Nick Saban, so they are looking at people who worked with him. Muschamp has said he wants nothing to do with the job, and JimBo has said the same. But, according to the opelika media the donors are pushing for JimBo for reasons I can't understand. I think their best bet would be to hire Gill and give him time.

His wife apparently hated it there.

I agree with that.

I doubt it. If he wasn't interested in the UT job I don't know why he would jump at the Auburn job.

This next year may be Spurriers last year. He seems like he may be about ready to hang it up and play golf 5 days a week.

Whatever Auburn does, I hope it works out. I'm not an Auburn fan, but what's good for them is bad for Bama. And, we don't play Auburn every year.

Muschamp is still in play... AU offered 2 per and Muschamp countered 3 per... AU has some serious wood for this guy!

If they pay Muschump 3 mil, it will cement Auburn's status as the stupidest athletic department on the planet.

It does look like they are getting a little desperate.
