A sister-in-law hooked on the tv show, Outlander passed this to my wife. Dutifully, I’ve watched the series with her, but the writing of the latest season has stretched into the intolerable artifice of desperation. The show runners are at a loss and seemingly tossing soiled toilet paper against the wall to leach out a paycheck.

Watched the first of 4 episodes of The 12th Victim documentary last night on Showtime. Interesting.

Huge cheese. Needs a forklift. But the original had cheese in quantities that required industrial scales to measure. I’d place both movies on par.

I’m impatient with writer’s’ reliance on certain contrivances to create risk/conflict for central characters to resolve. Dismissively, you think me a cantankerous old man. Age is the advantage of seeing things over and over again more times than callow youths. My impatience is earned. I’m not a dotard. I’m informed by experience.
