TV, movies, music, Books and whatnot.

Are you a recovering addict too, or am I the only one Rust bucket likes to call out every chance he gets.
To actually answer your kwerschun 🤪, I’m too busy to be an addict, recovering or otherwise. lol Maybe a postponing user? or something. I did pretty much stop all wine when classes started, as it’s like the worst possible waste of/ user-up of time I can think of, including the next day. Haven’t particularly missed it. The local distributors might be considering layoffs as a result of reduced demand though.

Are you taking any classes this spring? If not, I’d be happy to give you some of mine if you’re bored and have time on your hands. Half my classes are at least partially online, and the other three are completely asynchronous remote, aka canned. I have HUGE sympathy for those who had to do online schooling during the Plague. I am absolutely awful at trying to pay attention to a recorded Zoom lecture, even tho IMO my little community college has done a killer job of helping us learn all this stuff. I never had a professor at UT who did a tenth of what these people do to support students.

—I have two homeschooling high schoolers in my bio class. They’re 18, and I’m 68, so we pretty well bracket the student demographic around here. 👶🏻 🦽

What you taking classes to do?
Well, I’m not going back to work, that’s for sure! lol

I guess (1) I’m curious about the stuff I’m studying (biology/ environmental science + music theory) and (2) I’ve already felt cognitive decline starting (memory, reaction time, difficulty doing mental math.) There’s a use it or lose it element (up to a point) for aging brains, and this is way more interesting than Sudoku. Which I despise.

Very smart.
