The Lincoln lawyer has been pretty good so far
Have you ever read the books? They are pretty wonderful, and they bring in the arcs from the different stories in an amazing and satisfying way: Harry Bosch/ Mickey Haller/ Renée Ballard

He has a wonderfully consistent approach with all his characters, who are all (whoops sorry, not Mickey, who is decidedly not LAPD, but is part of the judicial system) dedicated LAPD employees who are determined to serve the public by discovering and exposing how their loved ones died, even (and especially) when it rocks the boats of departmental politics.

In the books, Bosch is a Vietnam vet, a survivor of the tunnel wars. In the TV series, he is an Iraqi war vet. If you’re only familiar with Connelly’s TV versions, be sure to note the pub date if you read the books to avoid confusion. Which you absolutely should (read the books, that is.)

If you only watch the Prime series, Titus Welliver is perfect as Bosch. Killer casting.

Billy Bob Thorton, "Goliath". He played Billy McBride. Is it similar to Lincoln Lawyer? I watched it about 4-5 years ago, and it seems similar.

Is the Bosch series related?
Bosch on Prime is from the books. Connelly is one of the producers, so it has stayed very faithful to the characters and plots. Couple things had to go, like TV Harry Bosch couldn’t have PTSD from being a Vietnam tunnel rat. It’s from something Iraqi war instead.

At any rate, Harry still prefers women. 😛

No, just noticed it and checked the quality of it an Oppenheimer. Both surprisingly good for CAM.

But I will watch Barbie as soon as it's available.

I just couldn’t see the brilliance in Apocalypse Now. Outside of the napalm in the morning scene. I realize I’m in the minority. Didn’t care for Platoon much either.
Apocalypse Now wasn't brilliant as far as I'm concerned, but I loved the soundtrack and thought it was way better than Platoon. Platoon was to me what AN was to Malin.
