I just finished the first episode of The Last Kingdom. That first battle was heartbreaking. Clever strategy for the Danes, the Saxon fell right in.

I'm interested enough to watch the second. Not a fan of Brida yet, but hoping that changes. Hope I don't have to wait long for Sven to get what's coming to him. Lol. Already hate that Martha flocker.

Besides Uhtred, there's no one that I can say is a favorite yet. The ones I woulda picked are already dead. Lol.

Uhtred continues to be a gullible but lovable idiot. But it doesn't roll out like it seems it might in the first episode. I'm in a couple of seasons and am watching all of it. Invested enough that I want to see how it ends.

I turned it on just to see if it was like live action or real and ended up watching the whole episode. Lol. Gonna watch the second one tomorrow. Not sure I'll get into it, but I found the one episode fun.

Catch up Behr, 4th episode comes out tonight. It's actually getting better. Still not following the story line but we'll see. My only fear is that it will move so slow that I will get bored with it.

Watched The Summer of Soul about the Harlem Music Festival - 6 weekends in the summer of 1969. The restoration, the sound editing, the interviews - this was a labor of love. I understand the Academy recognition to Quest Love. If you lived through these times, it will awaken your memories.

I finished episode 1 and got about 15 minutes into the second episode then realized it's not for me.

The Batman. Good cast, BUT Bella’s Edward as Bruce Wayne is weak. The dark, brooding, dripping wet atmosphere is overplayed. Zoe Kravitz is delicious. Jeffery Wright is almost wasted, but he’s good in whatever role he’s given. Andy Serkis non-green-screen is a rare event. Long story line. Long movie. “Oh, your not as smart as I thought you were,” producer and director.

It's me, I'm just not into the sci-fi stuff right now. I've been excited about The Batman, but I'm not even in the mood for it yet, so I'm gonna wait.
