Hopefully it is not something that will have them off of the team cuz losing Passley could be a huge deal.

yeah Passley is a great player that would be a big loss for next year. He also wants his little brother who is suppose to be amazing come here so hopefully we can keep him.

Passley would have been a very big contributor next year and will be if Pearl can straighten him out. Another thing is that if he is kicked off, we will likely lose the commitment of his brother(top 10 player for 2008, possibly the #1 pg in the nation for his class). From what I've read, it doesn't look good for Passley, but we shouldn't pass judgment on him so quickly.

cocaine possession is definitly alot more serious than the origional marijuanna charge consider marijuanna could be legalized. This is bad for us, while Smith isnt a loss at all losing Passley could be huge. Passley was a good player UWM and could have been a major contributor next year. Also his brother was planning on coming here who is almost a lock as a top 10 prospect.

It boils down to what really happened. For my money, if they have been in trouble before, good bye. Everyone should get one break if it isn't anything too bad, after that, if you can't learn the lesson after one break, too bad, too sad. They could get real time if they have a prior.

Thank goodness it's not someone who has been playing much. These kids should know better and know the results of their actions. They should be told by the coaches - "If you do drugs, no playing time, you're off the team. It could be temporarily or it could be permanent!"

Let's just HOPE-- the investigation into this arrest does not expose any more problems.

It just burns me up that we are having such a positive season and these two idiots go out and put a black cloud over our heads.

I'm all for second chances, but if they're fooling around with crack-cocaine, kick their butts to the curb and move on. We don't need those kind of problems.

Now we're going to hear about this during every remaining game we play this season. :bad:

I knew it was going to happen.........Fulmer's lack of dsipline on the football team has finally spilled over to the cagers!!! NOW can we fire the guy!! :realmad:
Actually, being serious about the matter. these incidents are unfortunant and I suspect CBP will deal with it just as he dealt with the Hendrix fighting incident.

everyone has problems no matter where you coach with players getting in trouble. I think Pearl will take care of if, though Patterson getting suspended for an exhibition game wasnt much of a punishment.

It fit the crime, he didn't really do anything improper.

Daniel Brooks even admitted that Patterson never hit him. Hendrix lit his stooge a$$ up, but Andre didn't get any shots in.
