Made a big jump on 247. Went from No. 456 overall to No. 175 overall in their regular rankings. Jumped like 75 spots in their composite score, too.

yep. i'm sure they're a player...maybe more than either UT lol. still, it's interesting we're in that group. not sure how often we're 3rd when kids are considering TX or OU....not a normal recruiting battle for us. maybe that's our edge?

“Crawford is a prospect set to make his first visit to Tennessee this weekend, and the Texas native plans to come to a decision soon-after. The 5-foot-11, 200-pound athlete is just a 3-star, but Tennessee’s staff loves the John Tyler High playmaker. Crawford is a legit target high on the board at cornerback, with Derrick Ansley and Pruitt leading the recruitment. Texas, the presumed favorite, and Baylor are two of his other finalists, so we’ll see if Tennessee can move a real move this weekend.”

If it’s the same guy I’m thinking about. Kinda looks like a slot receiver. Reminds me of Pig Howard.
