I think we they will try to get a fresh/soph DT out of transfer portal just to have depth for next year since we are losing like 4 senior guys at that positionRight. And we’re solid there for next season. If a good DL with multiple years of eligibility popped up, he’d be worth looking at, but as for now, just focus on OL.
I’m also hopeful some young OL will develop. Umarov playing meaningful snaps in the bowl was encouraging.
It would be really nice to see a non project there. Need an elite DL. But after hearing the 'experts' comments, weve struggled closing NOT because of Spyre, but because the room is clogged.Right. I'm not that receptive to the idea of waiting for our young OL develop. Hope that happens, but this is Nico/go time. Clock is ticking. We need a starter or 2 from the portal now. Or at least grab a couple of guys who can be legit backups because you know injuries are gonna hit. It's as sure as the sun rising. Just can't have guys who are matadors in front of Nico. Same for Sampson.Right. And we’re solid there for next season. If a good DL with multiple years of eligibility popped up, he’d be worth looking at, but as for now, just focus on OL.

This guy gets more and more interesting the more you dig. In a good way. That's a big ask for someone with that kind of legacy and good to know he has some team first in him. Also means he has position versatility. He could turn out to be a bigger add than his brother long term? He has good genes dad had a decent CFL career. Definite take at corner as a project11.24.23: Brazzell accepted the position change to do what was best for the Rebels football team. It’s safe to say both Brazzell and the Rebels are happy with his decision. Brazzell made the game-changing defensive play with a pass deflection in double overtime, which helped Legacy pull out a 57-55 win over Euless Trinity in the area round playoff last week.
...Brazzell is excelling at his new position, as he has recorded 39 tackles, 12 pass deflections and two interceptions. He covers the opposing team’s top receiver every game.
“I just keep seeing the more we play, he has more upside,” Hartman said. “Number one, he’s long. If he’s in position, it’s hard to throw the ball over him and get it to the receiver. He keeps getting better each week at it with more reps. He’s going to be continued to be asked to go with their best receiver. It’s what he’s going to do and that’s the matchup that we were looking for. How do we get Colin on their best guy? He’s earned that."

If Spraggins returns, there’s only one spot up for grabs. Don’t think NIL should be spent on a BACKUP OT.I'm not that receptive to the idea of waiting for our young OL develop. Do you believe in the noise about Mincey maybe hitting the portal? I don't see why he would. He is almost guaranteed to start when healthy... he just needs to focus on the staying healthy part. I get playing RT might not be his thing but it could get him his NFL chance and Darnell Wright's story should be a roadmap for him. Wright was in a similar situation to him though he was a higher-rated guy.If Spraggins returns, there’s only one spot up for grabs. Don’t think NIL should be spent on a BACKUP OT.
The noise was pre-some NIL deal. He’s set pending some unforeseen addition imo.Do you believe in the noise about Mincey maybe hitting the portal? I don't see why he would. So the staff shouldn’t go after a 4 star battling Mizzou/NC State because he decommitted from Vanderbilt but should take the guy with the Austin Peay offer in your opinion?I’d happily take this commitment. He could be a late bloomer like his brother. And he sounds like he’s raw at the position but with a lot of upside.
I had seen some posts on Twitter (I refuse to call it X) that this kid was offered as a PWO. Can you confirm or deny this? I didn't know if you might have some inside info or not. I do agree that it's odd that some complained about the Sensabaugh offer till they were blue in the face, but are tickled pink about this offer. Sounds very personal agenda driven to me.So the staff shouldn’t go after a 4 star battling Mizzou/NC State because he decommitted from Vanderbilt but should take the guy with the Austin Peay offer in your opinion?
*I’m not saying don’t take him*

Not sure if it’s PWO or not but wouldn’t shock me if it isI had seen some posts on Twitter (I refuse to call it X) that this kid was offered as a PWO. Can you confirm or deny this? Also agree that I didn't/don't have an issue with either offer.
