True. Part of the whole degeneration of a program that continues to haul in highly rated talent. Starts with a small rot at the top and it stinks up the whole thing. Urban wanted to escape the leprosy of his own doing the second his video game franchise mode QB’s eligibility expired.Right or wrong, I drew my conclusion of Jimbo from the handling of the Winston stuff.
The media and Anita Wadwafllwhatever, would have ripped us to shreds under the same circumstances.
The Mess Jimbo Left: Inside FSU's Fall and Willie Taggart's Plan to Rise AgainTaggart is butch so he will blame everything on previous guy. Fisher is a great coach and recruiter and has proved it over time. He had one foot out door last yr or so there initially thinking he would go to LSU.
I will say he is good at making a QB good in colllege but apparently whatever he teaches doesn’t translate to the nfl. They all get drafted high and bust typically from a mental standpoint.
He really wants to have this decision out of the way by Elite 11, which starts on Friday. However, he is still not completely decided. I thought there might be a chance that it played out past Elite 11 but it sounds like something should be done in the next 48 hours.
I still think it will be A&M, but it is not a sure thing at this point. He is very much torn and, even though they are behind A&M and Tennessee, even Auburn and Duke still have at least small shots.
Again, I think it will be A&M based on all the factors I've said before - distance, Jimbo's history, friends going to A&M, depth chart, etc. - but he REALLY likes the Tennessee staff and likes it in Knoxville as well. A&M has been in communication with him and continues to work on things in the final days of his recruitment. But, so have the Vols. I still like my A&M Crystal Ball but Aggie fans may not want to celebrate until he makes a commitment as Tennessee is still in the thick of it.
Hmm...making a decision in 48 hours probably...many have felt good where TN is positioned in this one...we have gotten 2 2020 commits in the last few days, and Bailey says we have 4 more silent commits...we have a lot of momentum right now, and there are suggestions Pruitt may have these silents planned out to announce to start creating a lot of buzz and momentum for this class...multiple posters with inside info keep pointing to big things are happening with major targets...tells me 1 thing...Update from Brian Perroni on A&M 247 site late last night...
Again, just guessing from reporters. Trying to piece the puzzle together. Still Vol, IMO. Should find out today or tomorrow it sounds like.

King is a Vol, and has been one. One of the 4 silents left to announce soon.
