Hahaha that's actually a really good explanation. And assuming that the reader can can decipher what you are implying does lead the a lot of arguments on here. Hahaha maybe we should ban dangling participles on the board to avoid more conflict. HahahahaA dangling participle modifies the wrong noun. Usually you've left the subject implied and are taking for granted that your reader will know what you mean. You fix a dangling modifier by putting the proper subject in the sentence, usually right after the participle or participial phrase.
Wrong:
Scrolling through the recruiting forum, the booms exploded everywhere.
Right:
Scrolling through the recruiting forum, Sleegro saw booms exploding everywhere.
