TX QB Kaidon Salter (Liberty signee)

It was not cutcliffe. He left for Duke before the 1998 national championship game. Randy Sanders was named interim OC and got the job perminatly after the next year.

OC = Cutcliffe until 98 Champ Game (left for Ole Miss)
OC = Sanders 1999 - 2005
OC = Cutcliffe again 2006 & 2007 (left for Duke)
OC = Dave Clawson 2008
HC/OC = Kiffin/Chaney 2009

Cutcliffe left just before the 1998 championship game (played in January 1999). Sanders was the OC for the national championship game.

247 Analyst speaking heavy praises on Salter. Could be a high 4* or 5* type guy by the time its all said and done.
I agree with it. His film is great, already throws with strength, accuracy, touch and even anticipation. Got a little mechanics to iron out but hes got a ton of potential.

I've always liked Arkansas going back to the days when they were the only in conference competition for the Longwhorns. I know it's blasphemy but I even like their hog hats.
I was a big Arkansas fan back when they were in th South West Conference. Not gonna lie. I still hold a soft spot for them now because of it.

I grew up in Texas and was a sometimes fan of the longhorns, but I always despised the longhorn fan base.

My father grew up in Ripley, TN and Blytheville, AR so I grew up with an interest in both the Vols and Hogs. Something about the Hogs being the only SWC team outside of TX made me want them to win. Will probably always root for them as long as they are not playing Vols.

I agree, my son was born in Arkansas, so I have a soft spot for them also, (He bleeds orange, brought up right, but pulls for Arkansas, distant second).

Emory was a 5*? Dude has an average arm at best.
God no. His composite was top-100 though. Probably bc of terrible espn/rivals. 247 had him top-200.

Just look at Salter...93 on 247. Nobody elsewhere. Rivals and espn are so turrible at QBs.

I will tell you this. Multiple coaches confided in me that this one is dude with the highest upside that there is buy in that he is our next star...
Locked and Loaded here and super pumped based on all the hype I am hearing about him from the staff.
