TX QB Kaidon Salter (Liberty signee)

It worked yesterday, so Happy Mother's Day and Kaidon Salter commits to UT Day, also. Absolutely, love this kids game. Yeah, I've said Patrick Mahomes 2.0, but that's ridiculous. Salter does show some similarities to Mahomes and is the best QB in Texas. Like Kamar said, "my QB"

Was interested in looking up where 247 had Salter with talks on here about best QB's in Texas. They 247 have him a top 300 player which is IMO normally a good thing. However was surprised to see him rated as the 10th best dual QB in this class. The state of Texas must be loaded with really good QB because there were 5 dual threat QB from the state of Texas rated higher than Salter with him being #6 in the state. There were also 3 Pro style QB from Texas higher rated overall than Salter. So at least going by 247 Salter is the 9th best QB from Texas.

Rivals also has Salter #6 Dual QB from Texas, but only a 3 star and #20 dual threat QB in this class.

I do trust in the staff and their evaluations but I just assumed Salter as a whole was higher rated from reading through this thread. And again he is still a top 300 recruit, just didnt realize Texas had so many highly thought of QB.

That is not 247, that is composite. Let's not count Rivals and their terrible rankings twice.

247 has him #4 DT-QB, #1 in Texas. Top 100 player overall.

He basically just took off last season. Put together a similar or better season and his stock will keep soaring.

247 has their own rankings separate from the composite. If you go by the 247 composite that is including the really low rivals ranking.
