I'd say there are likely plenty. Just not privy to most because I only follow UT recruiting. Wasn't Pickens a mess? He was a top freshman WR. Pappoe was dramatic and started as a Tr FR at Auburn. Preston Williams messed with Auburn big time on his visit and is now a top Dolphins receiver.

I'm sure there are plenty more. I'm not arguing it isn't a negative indicator, but it is far from a disqualifier.

I just hope the kid has some really good mentors for him. I hate to see kids waste potential. No matter where he goes, he will be a factor. UT should be in the mix. The program has a lot to offer a kid like him. Good luck to him either way.

Edit Kobe Bryant, no kids are a like and this kid maybe great but being a HS stud with ability does not make you a team player on a College Team and in the NFL you got Adults putting you in your place from day one.

Actually, he is. UTAD is pretty much self funded. The university itself may receive taxpayer dollars, but not the AD. Donor money is involved, but it's money specifically given to the AD to spend at their discretion, unless designated otherwise.
