-m. rayTennessee Tight End Commit Jack Van Dorselaer left earlier with George MacIntyre to go see some more of the city. These two have clearly hit it off. Van Dorselaer enjoyed being back around campus today and loved what he saw from practice. He plans to return to campus in April for the spring game and will take his official visit in June.
2025 Tennessee Tight End Commitment Jack Van Dorselaer dropped out of the On300 Rankings. Van Dorselaer was previously rated as the No.285 overall prospect.
Did the player suddenly get worse? I am sure that some of this is that players don't pan out like was originally though, but when a player loses a star rating it is really a knock on the recruiting services for having not rated them properly to start with. Either they should never have been a 4 star to begin with, or the recruiting service is giving arbitrary ratings based on some other criteria besides the players performance/ability. (ie camping at the "correct" camps)On3 knocked him down to a three star.

-APJack is likely going to take some visits. TN doesn’t want to lose him and they will love him up pretty good. Heupel and Abeln really like him a lot. TN was only taking one but when they moved Okoye that changed…
-Bill Embody, SMU journalist.*** A big (literally) SEC commit was on campus for an unofficial visit. Southlake Carroll (Tex.) four-star tight end and Tennessee commit Jack Van Dorselaear took in practice with his family. The According to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies, he’s the No. 315 overall prospect in the country and 19th-best tight end in the nation. He committed to the Volunteers in January.
I don’t think the 105 scholly limit goes into effect till 2025-2026 school year, correct me if wrong? So technically we are still working within a limit this year at 82-83 so they might want to use that scholarship for another position knowing we have Okoye there now.Why cant we keep what we have and add more?
