This is really unfortunate! I really wish the best to Tyler and his new kid! It was a pleasure to have you in orange for the past two and half seasons! I hope you make it to the NBA one day, but you will always be a VOL, no matter how your playing career ended!

Too bad I hope he does better in the future. The team will be interestinng to watch for a while, until they wear down.

Aside from Pat Summit , Bruce is the best Coach we have at UT. Unlike Lane, Bruce didn't put ability over punishment like with Janzen Jackson. Kudos to Bruce for doing the right thing. Lane hasn't done anything right since he bamboozled Hamilton into hiring him.

If u don't keep up with the current events around the program then please don't post. Jackson was cleared by Knox. Police as being an "unaware bystander" and then thuroughly investigated by the university.

Please go find something else to do.:neener2:

First of all let's acknowledge the fact that Tyler owned up to his part and didn't duck his final obligation as a Vol Athlete and Team Leader...that took lots of courage...he has learned a very costly lesson and is paying a high price for it...I have great memories of #1 in orange and am confident he will be a SuperStar in life because he has a good heart and a big purpose now to prove to those "bashing" him that they were wrong

I understand a gun with altered serial numbers is a problem; however, what is the law in TN on a personal weapon inside a car. I was not aware that this was not legal. Can you only have a gun in your car if you have a carry permit? Does anyone know what law was broken with the weapons?

You may not be in possession (which includes immediate access to) a loaded firearm without a permit. If the weapon(s) had been unloaded and separate from the ammunition there would have been no problem. (well, aside from the altered SN on the 9mm Taurus)
