Looks like players were shorted playing time.... will there be Parents suing La Tech under the precept that La Tech could have and should have known ?. Or, exposed their daughters to an emotionally upsetting environment?

What about Vicki? What did she know? And, when ? What will be her exposure be to litigation?

Simply put, this is going to be a litigious nightmnre in addition to the harm caused to Tyler's wife and his unborn child.

For that matter, unborn children have legal rights, too. So will the girlfriend be chased by Attorneys to initiate legal action on behalf of her child ?

I cant imagine LaTech wanting any of the money back, they want to move on.
I cant imagine the girl wanting money other than child support, if they don't marry later
I cant imagine what grounds parents of players have in this. No one is guaranteed anything except room, board, books and tuition. And parents have very little or no rights when it comes to college anyway.
I do expect a divorce proceeding to be filed. Summit's wife is too young to live this the rest of her life, she can move on and hopefully find herself a good partner.

You have no idea about the culpability of either party. CTS was in a position of authority over a student athlete and they had relations. Beyond that, we have no information. He is held to a higher standard by virtue of his position.

But every 23-25 yr old is not qualified to be given the keys to a DI program. You could make the argument they shouldn't even be running a good high school program. He needed to build his resume and gain more experience as an assistant. Looks like Micky DeMoss was a mentor assistant who was there for the experience part.

The girl who denied it wasn't the focus of the speculation. She was simply making sure that her name was kept out of people's mouths. The player more closely associated to the rumor is the one who disappeared after the season ended, hasn't been heard from by her teammates, and is staying under the radar. In this case, I wouldn't associate silence with untruthfulness.

Interesting thing to deny in this situation. Adds a little fuel to the potential of the rumors of this involving both players being true IMO.
Otherwise why didn't this other player deny any relationship instead of denying being PG.

The pregnancy rumors are unconfirmed and all seem to originate from SB Nation's Swish Appeal blog:

"Multiple sources close to the situation have informed Swish Appeal, that the person Tyler Summitt had an inappropriate relationship with is a player, and that she is pregnant. We have decided to not release the player’s name."

The only litigation likely to arise from this is a divorce filed by AnDe Summitt, and my guess is that will be handled as discreetly as possible... unless she decides to stick it out. The Ragsdale and Summitt families have known each other for a long time.

Nothing surprising about it at all. Speculation was that Summitt was involved with a player who came over with him from Marquette. She was one of them. Ashley has no reason to deny that Summitt was in a relationship with a player, but wanted to make sure that people did not think it was her.

After her "not preggo" tweets, there was an article where the LA Tech players and parents (including Ashley's dad) talked about Summitt's perceived favoritism towards Brooke Pumroy, and how that was causing problems on the team. Interesting how Brooke is not getting any sympathy from her teammates.

We really don't know what kind of person Brooke Pumroy is. She doesn't seem to have much support. Haven't seen any teammates, coaches or friends from Marquette or La Tech come publicly to her defense-- and the media would be eager to report it to keep the story alive. Certainly Ashley Santos-- once her best friend and roommate-- turned on her. Santos is the one who reported the situation, initiating the investigation that led to Tyler Summitt's resignation.

Ah, I get what you mean now.

Truthfully, I don't know how many people thought it was Ashley Santos to begin with. I think this was her way of saying, "it's not me", but was executed in a kind of half-assed manner which could leave it open to interpretation. However, the way the LA Tech team turned on Brooke Pumroy makes it pretty clear who this was all about.

Not sure what would change about the situation if she were a princess or the dirtiest gutter slut in the country. TS is in the very wrong no matter

TS is in the wrong for his situation and assumes full responsibility for his colossal f-up no matter what Brooke Pumroy is like.

Likewise, Brooke Pumroy is responsible for her situation if she was a willing participant in the relationship with TS.

Nothing changes-- I was just commenting that nobody knows much about Brooke Pumroy. Tyler Summit was 100% wrong, and IDT anyone is arguing on his behalf. But having an affair with someone who's married is also wrong. Two wrongs don't make a right.

I have been looking around and have found no information explaining how this big secret came to light. How did they discover Tyler's affair with the player? I doubt he just walked into the AD's office and declared it all just to clear his conscience. Did his wife discover messages on his phone? Anybody know?

Also, I will say this...although I do not know what any of these people's personalities are like, Tyler's wife is waaaaay hotter than Brooke Pumroy. I guess Tyler and AnDe had chemistry problems. Or maybe Brooke Pumroy gave him the down-and-dirty that he didn't get at home. You know what they say: chef in the kitchen, angel in the living room, slut in the bedroom.
