Hopefully, if Santa goes out in black face this year to honor President Obama, he'll wear Jesus Christ underoos so no one gets offended...

The Romans do record Jesus:

Letter of Pliny to Trajan 111AD

Annals Tacitus 109AD

As I stated, nothing until the early 2nd Century; i.e., nothing primary and no records which corroborate the events.

Jewish sources record Jesus:
Josephus antiquities of the jews (lived A.D. 37-100)
Now there was about this time Jesus, a wise man, if it be lawful to call him a man; for he was a doer of wonderful works, a teacher of such men as receive the truth with pleasure. He drew over to him both many of the Jews and many of the Gentiles. He was [the] Christ. And when Pilate, at the suggestion of the principal men amongst us, had condemned him to the cross, (9) those that loved him at the first did not forsake him; for he appeared to them alive again the third day; (10) as the divine prophets had foretold these and ten thousand other wonderful things concerning him. And the tribe of Christians, so named from him, are not extinct at this day.

It is highly doubtful that Josephus wrote anything regarding Jesus. There is plenty of literary criticism regarding his works and the change in style, syntax, and vocabulary used when he refers to Jesus; this suggests that someone else wrote these things, not Josephus and not in the 1st Century.

Celsus True Discourse 178AD

Lucian of Samosata (lived 115-200AD)

Everything regarding Jesus is based on uncorroborated human testimony.
