React? Sounds like they approved it. As big as they appeared, I highly doubt any of them were hobbyist or recreational drones. Also, most of the locations would have been a no fly zone for the traditional Amazon drone owner.

Not if it was DOD Drones that they didn't want people to know that it was DOD drones. The flight restrictions would have been for civilian drone/aircraft.

you can't expect the right hand of the government to know what the left hand of the government is doing. heck the right doesn't know what the right is doing.

and I think you are conflating some of Biden's FAA with Trump's FAA. which may not be any different in personal, but if the orders from the top are different you should expect the different results we are seeing that look wasteful now
