The bible could also be text of how we interpreted alien interference of this planet and our species which could also include their understanding of religion and creation. So it could still have accuracies at the macro level. It doesn't mean God doesn't exist.
Depends. Even if some of the descriptions were of an extraterrestrial encounter, the lessons and commandments might still have legitimacy from a higher power. Just because the bible names them angels or demons doesn't take much away imo. It changes the lens, certainly. So, then it is not to be taken literally?
I think it was Mitch Hedburg who said it best. "Maybe it's not technology that's the problem, maybe they are just blurry." Probably strangling the joke a bit and I think he was talking about bigfoot, but the point stands. In this day and age of high resolution video and cameras, why are the only pictures I've ever seen of the "so called" alien spacecraft look like something from an early 1980's black and white video game on a worn out 1960's CRT?
The biggest problem with your argument is it just jumps to the ends, missing the means.Unless you just die and go back to the dirt, then you won't know anything.. you'd just be dead.

I would think if you are one of the 5 actual Christian's out there living like the Christ teaches, and you are wrong about your faith. You are dead, but you lived a more selfless life and helped others, while all around trying to be a better person when it comes to interacting with other humans. Commendable even without a faith to justify it. So even though those 5 will have been "wrong" they still have probably lived a better life than those who were "right". And the world will be lesser without them.
Some selfish butthole may end up in the ground right next to the Christian but the world in that case is probably better off without him even though he was right about Christianity being wrong.
I don't remember that in the 10 commandments or Jesus advocating floggings BUT public floggings for mid-major type crimes would probably solve a lot of problems.

Pentagon said so.
Why would they lie about having advanced technology?
This is crux of the debate.
They clearly have advanced technology. It is clearly in their best (our best) interest that they keep such technology under wraps as long as they can.
The only question is the origin of the technology. Unfortunately alien enthusiasts, extraterrestrial origins makes less sense than man-made technology.
Does the Bible ever make the claim that god only created life on this planet? I don’t think it does, but I may be wrong
Oh, I knew it was blue fonted.
The problem is there is an uncomfortably large segment of our population who don't understand why it is sarcasm and will take it as evidence for alien encounters hidden by the Pentagon.
