Only happens in their sandbox. Just leave them alone. Not like they have an air force or navy

I've always been more a proponent of leaving other countries alone and protecting our own borders. If we keep up with who we have here, then where terrorists are grown doesn't mean as much. The fly in the ointment is some places like Iran and N Korea developing the technology to cause harm and the means to airmail it.

Asked and answered. False equivalency. Keep flexing 😂

It's only a false equiveillance because you want it to be.

I see a surgical military strike on a hostile actor on sovereign soil as a surgical military strike on a hostile actor on sovereign soil.

You trying to use a sliding scale of acceptability only seems to be a development since Biden took over. Weird.

Arming them didn't give rise to them, it simply leveled the playing field in our proxy war. Stingers don't make Radicalized muzzies, it's makes makes radicalized muzzies more dangerous to Russian Hinds.

I have to admit knowing they were shooting down Russian aircraft with our missiles was fun. However, it was also a bit like giving sharks people sonar and directing them to packed beaches. The thing is, historically nobody walks away from Afghanistan whole, so aiding Afghans if our enemy is stupid enough to go there is one thing; repeating the blunder on our own is just dumb. Life is better than swimming with piranha.

Goes back much further. It can easily be argued it goes back to the Crusades, but truthfully, it goes back further. And if we're talking modern "main events", you left off the formation of Israel after WWII.

The Europeans were really masters of nation building and need for a new nation on that one. Of course, European centuries of colonialism really had things spun up pretty well by that time anyway.

Post WWII we have sucked at nation building. Mostly because we dont know how to build other nations. We have a half butted America, and we try to replicate that with a bunch of Marines overseas and its no wonder things dont follow thru.

We didn't nation build after WWII either. We let them do it. Sure, the Marshall Plan helped but by and large, the nations rebuilt themselves.

You're correct. We gave them money but stayed out of the rebuilding process. Japan ran with Dr. Demmings' philosophy and we didn't, and as a result, they were more prolific and efficient at producing automobiles
