UAB.....HUH? Same old Holley

The Christmas season is almost upon us so, just like in the past several years, many many folks will be all about hanging Holly.
Either literally or figuratively.

I agree. I think Holly leaving is far worse than Holly staying. Holly leaving means our recruiting comes to a screeching halt and then we spend the next 4-5 seasons as a sub .500 team with a bunch of graduate and juco transfers until the new coach can implement their system. Keeping her after Pat was always the best option because it allowed us to work out the kinks and still be a successful program in the grand scheme of things.

This is so wrong. Any coach could recruit at Tennessee. And any good coach could take this team to the Final Four.

I respectfully disagree. Players have no loyalty to what a school has done in the past. If Holly and her staff were fired about half of the current roster would likely transfer. That’s just the way women’s basketball is now.

So UAB with a group of 1 star and NR almost beat this " well coached" Lady Vols basketball team?
Gonna be a long season!!!!!!!!! Just totally lost why UT would pay Holley to coach ANOTHER YEAR
AND WITH A RAISE. After 30 plus years mooching off UT, Holley......please leave.....you are the weakest link.
Time to go get a coach who can coach and improve the talent we have. Need a Rick Barnes clone as
he is the only deserving head coach we have at UT.

The previous response from gymmlover on this board was in Oct 2014 Come on Holly.....all the other programs find time to practice both ends and seem to play both ends well.Maybe adding an offensive minded assistant might help rather then having two defensive assistants from Kentucky and Rutgers(and still the defense is horrible).:banghead2: the football season is over and many boarders have to find another way to vent.

It will never be worst if she leaves. This is 2018 meaning that if the administration can replace her with a well-known player or coach like Lawson, Beckey.H, Candace.P no way the recruits will stay. Look at Tina Thompson at Virginia, how many players or recruits left? non...No doubt if Candace offered big bucks she leave WNBA in a heart bit or do both.

The fact you think any of those people would accept a coaching job here shows how out of touch with reality you really are.

So the recruits leave if Hollly goes? If Holly stays of course we have All American talent that goes nowhere....

I find it hard to believe that players are busting our doors down to play for Holly..... maybe just me

So glad fullmer gave her an extension. Brilliant move.

There is no proof, except good recruiting, to support the ideology that Fulmer's decision was brilliant. As to date we have had as many 5 stars as any of the top ten teams, however, we seem to always fall short. This BS that for the last 7 years we have had a bunch of 5 stars that were overrated is not facing reality. At a point you have to look at the coaching. Brilliant, the jury is still out.

U sees the truth, but most here dosen't. They act like they're related to coach.
