UCF vs Auburn

I get the excitement of going undefeated, especially after being 0-12 two years ago. But they just won the Peach Bowl. That’s it.

That’s why this 4-team playoff is still a joke.

Agreed. Don't see the issue going to 6 or 8 teams

Even without Stidham’s two late interceptions, it still would have still been a tied game (granted UCF also missed a gimme field goal or two as wel).

UCF played very well today.

Frost might just be the best HC in the country this year. Gotta be him and Riley 1a/1b. That is until Pruitt takes over for UT in ‘18.

They still wouldn't have been in it. They were #12 in the final rankings going into this game.

Oddly enough, though, their ranking might have somewhat been hindered by two of their games having to be cancelled due to weather (GT being one of them). They could have been as high as 15-0.

I seriously doubt beating Maine would have made much difference.

I don't think so either. Beating Georgia Tech possibly could have had somewhat, albeit not a huge push (like more of an at the number 10 at season's end perhaps but nothing more).

It was just a thought. The CFP rankings had reacted a bit oddly with how they've ranked LSU and UF in the past when the two had played a game less than the other teams (when weather cancelled a game).

Georgia Tech at least would have been a (likely) FBS win; but seeing how GT wasn't very good, I'm not sure how much it would have helped either. But it would have been better had they played it.

Yes. It's amazing to do that in only two years.
yet we have people saying 6-6 would be acceptable.

Frost did that in 2 years, and Smart has lost a total of 6 games in 2 years. Pruitt better ****ing win right away, because our cupboard ain't bare.
