UCLA or Utah State: Who do we want

Anyone seen any games from these two teams this year?

Only thing I know of UCLA is Mick Cronin crying in press conferences this year.

Haven’t watched either, according to KP UCLA is #26 overall and Utah St is #56 overall, pretty major difference. Utah State has a Top 20 offense though and that could be a bit scary.

No idea really. The easy answer would be to say Utah state, due to them being the lower seed, but seeds can be deceptive. But I guess them due to the lower kempom.

Probably in for a tough game either way.

I think UCLA plays well and just out of the blue throws in a stinker game where they can't buy a bucket for long periods of time. Can be a dangerous team it's just what version you get the night you play them.

I think we want UCLA. Both teams are running the floor and jacking threes. I thought I read UCLA likes to slow it down? They sure are running the floor 2nite.

UCLA is ranked 29 and 22-10
Utah St is ranked 39 and 26-7
I haven't seen who each team has played and their overall SOS.

That’s why I say UCLA. I think ZZ and Gainey can take it to the rim vs. UCLA. But our D better improve.

Edit- just saw they have a 7’3 guy. Idk how good he is.

I am not sure why we continued to help defensively when wofford was driving in the paint especially in the first half leaving perimeter shooters open. They weren’t athletic off the dribble for the most part. We could have easily had a 15 point lead at the half if we didn’t gamble. That is me being a tad nit picky though. We still won comfortably and I never felt the game was in doubt.

Utah State has less talent/athletes I would prefer to play them. I wouldn't mind double digit seeds the entire way.
