UCLA or Utah State: Who do we want

They did have some good wins. However, did also lose at home to New Mexico and Minnesota and at Nebraska and Rutgers. 5 seeds: Michigan, Memphis, Oregon, Clemson
6 seeds: Ole Miss, Illinois, BYU, Missouri
other 7 seeds: Kansas, St. Mary's, Marquette
Which of those 5 or 6 seeded teams do you think they should have replaced? To me, their resume looks pretty similar to Marquette, who is also a 7 seed.
Memphis or Ole Miss. I think Memphis should’ve been a 6. Ole miss as a 7 and UCLA as the 5

It doesn’t matter now, but UCLA has a deeper bench and plays inside more. My guess is that we will try to shoot the 3 early and try to get hot.

Skyy Clark is a head case. If we can frustrate him on the perimeter he will make bad decisions with the ball. I was there for all four games yesterday and while UCLA's athleticism is impressive, I think our physicality will overwhelm them - we just need to hit our shots and get to the FT line early and often.

I could see Memphis being dropped a line or two. Let's not forget Ole Miss has wins over Tennessee, @Alabama, Arkansas twice, Texas, Oklahoma, Kentucky, Georgia, BYU, Louisville, and Colorado State. UCLA may be a better team than Ole Miss but their resume is not better, especially with Ole Miss not losing to anyone that didn't make the tournament.

I think the committee under seeded UCLA.
They should’ve been closer to a #5 seed.
Notable Wins/Losses including their tourney
Wins: Michigan State, Gonzaga, Oregon (2X), Arizona, Wisconsin
Losses: North Carolina, Michigan, Maryland, Illinois , Purdue, Wisconsin
Bigten has some really solid squads , few have been up and down but overall good teams.

New thread: who do we want Illinois or Kentucky?

I prefer Illinois because we’ve shown we can beat them. Can’t say the same about this Kentucky team. Sometimes I think it is easy to over analyze things and think that “it’s hard to beat a team three times”, but again, don’t overthink it. One team we beat in front of a sellout crowd at their place. The other we lost to at home and on the road.
